Also, does it come with the mic 2? I’m looking at this kit, and completely new to this. Ultimately I’m videoing and pictures on a vacation, and was extremely highly recommended to the Osmo Pocket 3

Hi Daniel, yes is comes with the Mic2 and it will be awesome for you but please understand that the Pocket 3 is in no way as rugged as a GoPro and you'll need to be be careful with it. Keep it in the little hard plastic case when not in use and forget about going anywhere near water with it. I use mine for car rollers, hotel reviews and youtube videos and it's just so nice not to always have to lug around a full size camera. If you get one and have questions, don't hesitate to connect back. Cheers!

I’ll be taking a trip to the western US, and will do several train rides through canyons and such. I’m looking for the best setup I can do on a mini-tripod. I want to be able to get the most out of a SD card. I know I’ll need a battery pack thingy to keep juice flowing. I’m not a camera guy, so it has to be idiot proof also 😂

DJI sells an adapter so you can use any GoPro mount. Much better than using the tripod adapter since the mounting point is on the back.

Does the pocket 3 automatically come with the thread mount adapter so I can put it on an arm?
The basic pocket 3 comes with the 1.5" extension which has a USB-C port for charging and a 1/4-20 on the bottom for mounting to whatever.
