Works better than I thought it might. If you included a comparison between just the gimbal on the P3 and the P3 on this device, your video would have been more persuasive. Or, maybe not. 🇨🇦 and a P3 owner. I have a suction cup that works well, P3 stays inside, mounts ok on front windshield. Windshield is a bit steep, but ok. Gimbal seems ok, but honestly, haven't used it much. Had a gopro on my motorcycle from time to time, but it is possible to produce boring videos in most places.
You typically mount the blade arm so it looks like the letter "Z" but there are variations. You can't just suction it to a vehicle and extend it out horizontally as there will be no scissor action from the arm but you can extend the first arm out at about a 45deg angle and have it work. As long as the arm section with the weights is horizontal it will work. Hope that helps.
B&h photo in New York always has the default lowest prices for cam equipment. Try them for sure. Hope this helps. Paul PS. This was in short supply when I posted this video but looks like availability is better now.
Here's a link to a video I did on suction mounts. It might be useful depending on what you're doing. ruclips.net/video/vESjrhl4eew/видео.html

Great Review!! Thank you !
👍
Great review and demo! I like what you did with the PIP and various angles. Where is the tether, though? Lol. Thanks for sharing this!
Did you change any of the settings on the pocket? Fps, iso, shutter speed?
Great review! And I have a question, is there a way this can be mounted on a motorcycle with the classic gopro mount by unscrewing the suction cup?
Can the pocket handle Highway speeds?
Yes, but I prefer to mount the p3 horizontally for higher speed rollers.
@@paulphillips5128 How do you mount the Blade Arm horizontally? Does the gimbal works normally when mounted horizontally? Thank you in advance.

Oh sure, many have done this long before me. Enjoy!
I see a link to everything except the product you’re reviewing. Where is the best place to order this from?

@@paulphillips5128 ya I looked there but I’m in Canada. Would rather buy locally to avoid the duty and exchange.
