Completely agree. Finding the area you are expertise in or passionate about and creating a channel out of it is worth the efforts. Also, it brings the best out from you. Thank you for sharing this video, it was very helpful for me. I would soon be creating my own you tube channel. I'm glad I came across your videos.

I have 10 videos and i'm still not sure of what my niche is. I'm doing videos of little moments of my life (specially about going to the movies, or trips, or small events that I attend). I guess I'm a vlogger, but I don't have enough views or subs and I want to do something else. But these questions helped a lot and now I'm gonna figure out what's next :) Thanks for this video!
This video is amazing! I've put up a couple RUclips videos regarding the Graham Stephan 2018 Goals challenge, but I'm debating on starting an actual channel. This was an absolutely perfect place to start. Subscribed. Taken notes. Totally going through these 5 questions and hopefully demolish the rest of the videos in this channel
Thanks for your very detailed, yet emotional, approach. My product is not the most straightforward one. I make movies-machinima-out of video games. Of course my tags have the video game(s) in them, but my movies explore other themes, notably Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey, and sacrifice, specifically of love. Am I diluting my niche as a Machinima maker by also adding these - still specific - tags, or adding necessary components to my niche?
Hi Muchelle, just stumbled upon your Channel Notes channel and loving it as I am just about to embark on my own RUclips journey. Question for you though- I see you are a fellow Aussie. Why did you choose to do your platform on RUclips over Facebook? Aussies do not seem to be much on RUclips though Facebook is the go-to platform in Aus. Personally I also want to launch on RUclips and keep it as my main Social Media outlet, I do not want to post different videos on both platforms... On Facebook I can though run ads to my target market to watch my videos, on RUclips I will be reliant on showing up in search results- not sure this will be happening though. I’d like to niche down further and create consistent content. Please can you help me by recommending some tools / software that will help me find a niche with sufficient search volume but not high competition. I’m finding it near impossible to rank in search for the more popular video titles and topics etc. How do I spot which topics will trend next and go viral? x

I thinks she's completely wrong you should be able to do as many things as you want on your channel and have fun I don't think having a "focus" is very fun just my opinion.
Payten Eisenhauer I don't think that's what she meant exactly. She's saying if you have a makeup channel then keep the content regarding makeup and similar things on that channel. You can have other channels but keep each piece of content organized to hold the interest of who's watching.
This is for if you don't know what to make videos on. If you don't know what to make, find your niche. If you have no options on what you actually want or like to do, make videos on your niche.
Payten Eisenhauer She does have different channels specifically for each niche. Like Channel Notes is my fav by her. Another of my favorites right now is RUclipsr Shameless Maya I love her channel Tech Talk. It does not mean I do not appreciate the other niche channels these two successful women have, but for now those that I am watching by them is what I really need now.
Clarity is a very important strategy with RUclips and knowing who your target audience is as well, and how to target them. Also great video channelnotes you helped me out a lot.
