- This video is all about being consistent on youtube, keeping to an upload schedule and building trust with your subscribers by uploading a youtube video erry week reliably. If I haven't already said it enough - consistency is so freaking important! In general life aaand on youtube.
You need consistency to build trust. On another note - plenty of people wont subscribe if they can see you have an inconsistent upload schedule.

I started recently with my first video reviews and tutorials. I am still getting more experience since i spent more time and i did work more, i did not make a written schedule yet i did plan what videos i want to create and started the work, my main problem right now at being Consistent it is that it took much longer to make them maybe because i want to create good videos and it is much harder when you are at the beginning and realize that is so much that you need to learn about creating content, so i have a few videos that i wanted to upload last year and still did not finish them, hope soon i will manage to do that.
I am the worse planner, but you're right, being consistent even now is really hard. I'll probably use excell and wing with it. Thank you so much 😍😍
These are some really helpful tips, Michelle! I'm personally still trying to get in the swing of things (because juggling college, a relationship, and my social life with YT is a feat), but I'll definitely try to follow your tip on making a schedule/editorial calendar. I have all these ideas in my notebook, ready to be started, but I schedule most of my days for homework and a crap ton of procrastination time... ugh...

I really want to make like small little films. I don't know how to explain but like It's honestly really hard to make a schedule for something like that.
'who doesn't like doing anything if not by choice' - literally me. I think that's why youtube is attractive. It feels like we have autonomy over something 👐 also how about making a template for video scheduling? ( or I just need to get my head around excel haha)
I just uploaded my first video and now I am also panicking about consistency. I will try to do a schedule in my journal - I like to write it down, then I have more chances of achieving it :D

I just started my channel and I really wanna be consistent but I struggle since I work in retail and I don't have like "weekends off". I have a very irregular schedule so picking one day for uploading videos is quite hard!

Thanks, nice video. I've been trying to be more consistent over the last month or two bringing a video out each week, it's help grow the channel more, still slow going though. I'd like to say, hey let's do a video every week on my channel, but then worried if I can't deliver.

My mom wants my channel to be private but I want it to be public(mainly bc I don’t really want only my friends to see it cuz that’s embarrassing) any tips to help change her mind?
I don't know about the whole consistency thing, I think it's a double edged sword that cuts both ways. Maybe I am giving biased opinion rather than professional opinion. But for the most part, most of the channels I watch on youtube don't even have a consistent uploading schedule. I think it's about quality over quantity?
If I upload twice a month or if I upload once or twice a week, does that change the audience's perception of me? Probably not, because it's about what kind of channel you have... if it's an unconventional and fringe topic, you could post once a day and still wouldn't get any traffic. I personally would prefer not to post videos about socially stigmatized topics like police brutality because I am aiming to attract the good people, not the crazy population.

I'm surprised you did not warn your viewers to change their wardrobe and makeup in videos we prefilm!Nobody wants to be caught wearing the same thing,same lipstick, same exact eye shadow.When i film 2 videos in one night i make sure to chahe tops and add another color to the eyeliner.We don;t wanna get lazy like MEN who often don;t care how they look. Just my opinion.And from years of observing game show/talk show hosts doing 2 or 3 tapings a day in front of paid live studio audiences in Hollywood......fans watching at home don't know they tape throughout the day.....
