I truly love your channel so much because i find it incredible and very helpful...i got the same plans of starting my own channel and i guess you've simplified everything .
Hey Muchelle, Just wanted to let you know that I'm finding this entire channel incredibly helpful and inspiring. Thanks for sharing and keep on keeping! haha. P.S. I wanted to get a more compact vlogging type camera as opposed to my DSLR. Do you find that you have issues with the lens hood of the Canon G7X? Because I've seen some complaints. Thanks again!
Super glad you've made this channel. It's super helpful. I'm still not exactly sure what the heck I'm doing or if I'll actually ever post a video since I'm super self-conscious but I've always wanted to start a channel since I was probably 14 or 15. Needless to say, you've made the hard parts a lot easier for me! Not sure I'll have money to shell out for good equipment right now but I'm curious if whether or not you think an iPhone would work okay for the beginning stages until I earn money for real cameras and such?
+Amberleigh Unchained ahh so glad it's helped you! An iPhone would 110% be fine, iphone video quality is actually great. Start with it and move your way up gradually!! Xoxo
hey! thank you so much, because of you im finally getting started with my channel after 2 years! but i do have a couple questions, what kind of harddrive do you use? (im hoping its compatible with mac) & 2nd question: what was the sony vlog cam you mention? i cant find the link.... thanks in advance! youre amazing! much love from a queens girl from NYC xo
I have a question for ya. I'm starting a channel for music and I would love to hear any insight you have on what would work for channels that are slightly outside the box. I know music videos are done all the time, of course. I'm just not sure what look to go for or how to make the presentation more attractive and professional. A lot of filming and equipment advice is geared toward sit-down videos, or sometimes vlogging. Any tips geared toward other types of creators? That being said, I may have missed any videos you've already done on this, I'm just going to keep going through them all! Thanks!!
+helloitshuda Hmmm I think that it depends on the type of videos I'm going to make. If you're making sit down videos then a dslr for sure, if you want to do a mix of vlogs and sit down then a G7X. the G7X is really versatile and compact so you can use it for just about everything, but I think getting your hands on a dslr is super helpful when you start out and learning how to use the manual function is soo great!
Any point and shoot camera from the last 3 years (above $150 USD) can work for RUclips just fine as long as you shoot during the day and there's no wind noise.
Thanks! Ya know, I'd be very interested in hearing more about what makes it so much easier. I don't know if that's video worthy or not, but I think it would be interesting
I love this channel so much it really helps, could you do one on monetization pretty sure i spelt thatwrong haha. xx

The clicky autofocus noise produced by 70D and 80D can be avoided by using lenses labelled 'STM'. Cheers.
Thank you ♥️

Would the vlogging camera be any good for normal RUclips videos? I'm trying to find a good camera to start off my RUclips channel 😊
Any point and shoot camera from the last 3 years (above $150 USD) can work for RUclips just fine as long as you shoot during the day and there's no wind noise.

So which is the Sony vlogging camera?
I believe its the sony rx100
What do you think of fcp vs Premier Pro? I'm a newbie and very torn about which one to purchase
+TpyoQueen fcp! All the way. I used adobe premiere and final cut is SO much easier to use.
Thanks!

Affinity!!! How could I miss that! Thanks! Oh, and I meant "great video", not "video video!" ;)
Watching this even though I️ have absolutely no money to invest in expensive equipment for my channel lol
Which country your from?
So you said there was ways to get things for free... please elaborate? x
lolol she means finding a download somewhere online.
And editing software for free. It didn't mean the equipment.
Yep, still good to know! I've seen some vids where she does talk about some apps and things though 😊
