I've never found journaling to be helpful for me. I love that it has helped so many people though!
a silly thing that got me to write more was buying myself a really nice pen i love to use & to decorate my journal to create myself a space i love 'being' in
holy moly, the advice to journal right before therapy is mind blowing and i can’t believe i never thought of it! so often i go into sessions legit like…how AM i doing?? thank you for this tip!!
also, your journal with the prompts reminds me a bit of the STOPP skill, there’s an app that walks you through it, literally called STOPP, it’s really helpful for me and you might like it too
Oh yes I started bullet Journaling and commonplace journaling again. But now I am dx with adhd and autism so big difference lol
