    Sorry for taking this video down for some time. The site I used in this video, mpcautofill, got taken down. But there is a new site up now, that does virtually the same thing as the old one used in this video, so I thought this video might have some value again.
    The new site can be found here: www.mpcfill.com

    Wow, I wanted to do a legacy deck for fun, but I don't have the money needed for that, that's à great tool, thanks!

      Awesome! Hope you'll get to have loads of fun with your legacy decks! I've personally proxied a few vintage decks to see if that format was something for me, so doing it like this is a great idea!

    I just did an order of 612 cards thought it would be really quick and it's took forever to make sure double sided cards were correct and all the artwork was what i wanted. Took forever but super excited for it to get here

    I’m currently in the middle of running the script and uploading my first ever fully proxied edh deck. Thanks for all the pointers and tips, especially the saved projects walkthrough because I will be using that to order 6 commander decks at a time to save on shipping costs and split up the time requirement into 6 different days. Since it has been quite awhile since this video uploaded, I might suggest covering the changes that were made to the fill site along with the github structure changes as well

    Can you do a video on comparing different card stock?

    • @ProxyAcademy
      @ProxyAcademy  3 года назад +5

      You are not the first to mention that, and yeah, it is on my list of stuff to cover. I mention it shortly in the previous video, if you need some pointers. In summary, I go with S30, because the difference between S30 and S33 is negligible once the cards are sleeved imo.

    Thank you very much for this, I don't proxy and don't plan to proxy, But am working on my own set of Custom tokens to go with my EDH decks because I want to have my own custom tokens as apposed to the wizards made tokens.

    I have no problems with trading or selling proxies if the other person knows they are buying/trading for a proxy. Most MTG cards are worth less than a well done proxy.

    Are they actually any problems with the bleeding of the actual card? They mention that you need to make a frame for the bleeding of the card to make sure there are no problems when getting your order as good as it can be. Anyone is doing the actual bleeding thing or is just pointless to do it?

    Will MPC allow two card fronts printed on one card? For instance could I print a mono red deck on the "Front" and a mono black deck on the "Back" to essentially get two decks for the price of one?

    If money wasnt an issue, is this better (quality wise) than printing your own proxies and just sliding them onto your own cards when sleeving?

    • @ProxyAcademy
      @ProxyAcademy  3 года назад +1

      It of course depends on what printer you got :) But generally, the proxies that comes out of this looks very very good. It looks more or less like real cards, and has very similar cardboard in them.

    • @nyang8639
      @nyang8639 3 года назад +1

      @@ProxyAcademy Did you get any of the proxies with lower dpi? I was curious what their quality appearance looks like compared to the 1200dpi ones.

    • @ProxyAcademy
      @ProxyAcademy  3 года назад +4

      @@nyang8639 Yeah, I've gotten a few of bernt_toast's renders, which are around 450dpi. I still think those looks good, but you can see that the text isn't quite as sharp as on the 1200dpi ones. So I'd say lower dpi is serviceable if no other alternative exists. I don't know if I see much difference above 600 dpi though. I've printed a few around 600 and 800, and I can't really tell a difference from the 1200 ones.

    Do the cards come in original signs or the square box in the corner e.g ravnica block

    • @ProxyAcademy
      @ProxyAcademy  3 года назад

      You mean the set symbols? Those differ, because the proxies are made by various people. Some retain the set symbol, others have no set symbol at all, and some have their own custom set symbol.

  • @simplybeef8232
    @simplybeef8232 2 года назад

    So it's nice, however with the cost of living going up in general 3 years ago I was able to print proxies at half the price it is at now...like in 3 years it's doubled...the game is fun but you can't properly budget your life with the price of some real cards if you have other hobbies and make less than 100k yearly

    Brother, is there also a foil option on MPC?

    • @ProxyAcademy
      @ProxyAcademy  3 года назад +1

      There is, yes. However, their foils are not similar to Magic foils. MPC foils are a spray-on layer that's applied to the entire card after print, so the entire card gets the same foiling effect. They got a video showing the print here: ruclips.net/video/BWlqIj0fP94/видео.html

    Before I put in my order, I want to get some clarification.
    If I'm using the original frame and art for a card, like how it looks in its original printing will this cause me problems with the printing company?

  • @danielmercado2307

    why does this process not work. I think there are many details that are left out. I get generate order and its nothing like video. I am following steps that are not working. I think this video is semi trash. I have been trying to do an order for 3 weeks and it feels pointless. I get to generate order and its nothing like the video.
