Tammi was not only a very beautiful woman she was also a great singer who died way to young, she went through a lot of physical and emotional abuse

Such a beautiful girl Poor Tammi deserved better
Tammy Terrell was a natural beauty.❤
Tammi Terrell was a classic beauty with tons of talent, and taken away from us too soon.
This lady definitely meet the wrong men ,,,what a beautiful ,fantastic singer and strong lady
So sad . She is a breathtakingly beautiful lady
Tammi was absolutely stunning !!how anybody ever wanted to hurtt her is beyond me. she was an absolute darling ❤
A man that hurt a woman is a real fool and she has died way to soon. I do listen to her music today. I feel so bad about her family and how she have been done wrongfully by several men
@@melissasturgis absolutely right it's wrong for a man to hit a woman at all, but tammy was hit by many and I can't understand why she was so sweet and a beautiful singer and I really don't understand it she should of been protected by these men not beaten up it breaks my heart 💔to know that these men hurt her it really does.
Rest in peace Tammi Terrell 🙏🏻 you died way to soon forever missed in our 💓💓
Rest in peace with our Heavenly father 💕🙏❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
She was so beautiful and talented ❤
Tammy was a beautiful, Talented young lady and Tariji is a Beautiful Talented Young lady.
The truth is she got headaches from that trauma and it kead to brain cancer. Sexual abuse kills its victims in a manner no one gets. Those men who sexually abused her killed her slowly
Tammi Terrell is singing with the almighty lord in heaven with the angels
Good work. Thank you. Marvin and Tammi. Together forever
She was done so wrong such a talented beautiful lady
This is a great video about a very strong talented young lady who in her 24 years on earth left a rich legacy of music that people can enjoy forever. I recently listened to Tammi and Marvin Gaye's your precious love which was soaring on the top 40 charts around this time in 1967 and it is hard to improve on the quality of those two voices who left us too soon.
Thank you for putting this together. This is a very fine tribute to a most talented singer. This touches me personally because I was in high school in the late 1960s when Tammi Terrell and Marvin Gaye were putting out those romantic hits from the songwriting team of Ashford and Simpson. I knew about her life being cut short at such a young age and its effect on Marvin Gaye and that was heart breaking, but now learning more about physical violence she suffered that very likely contributed to her death has me tearful and mournful for her as if this has just happened.
Me too great voice great with Marvin Gaye
Thank you. Yes I too was deeply saddened when I heard what had happened to Tammi as I love her music especially with Marvin. So glad you enjoyed the video.
If ever a movie is made of her life, Taraji should definitely play her!
God bless, Tammi. Thank you.
I Love Tammi Terrell 💕❤️🎤
A Shooting Star ❤❤❤
Tammi Terrell is one my favorite singers
Taraji .P. Henson would do a great job playing her. They could pass for sisters.
Taraji’s eye too big!
When Taraji was younger, she definitely could have played her.
So sad, what a sweet lady. Ruffin was a douche
*Tammi looks like she could be related to Tariji*
Exactly what I was thinking
I met Tammi in Detroit when my mom worked at Motown. She was lovely. She does resemble Taraji but she's much softer. Much more elegant and feminine. No disrespect Taraji! We love you too!
She is related to My Son.❤
I've read somewhere that there was a movie in the making about Tammi Terrell and that Taraji was slated to play Tammi. There was an episode in "Empire" where Cookie & Lucious had gotten married in City Hall and the song "Aint No Mountain High Enough" was playing in the background and Taraji's hair was styled like one of Tammi's, along with a patent leather apple jacket hat, and when she turned towards Lucious, I swear she looked just like Tammi, it was so surreal. I think Jill Scott could also play Tammi, as they both are from Philadelphia. But what do I know lol
Pumzika Kwa Amani..
Hardly legendary
So sad.
Sad short life, she was raped and beaten at the age of 11. Did they ever catch the guys?
Didn't see any information on that but I hope so. Thanks for watching! 👍
James Brown was a masterful funk-tician, but a terrible person. He's lucky he didn't have to contend w/ the Internet or social media. Wonderful segment on Tammi, who had unfortunate taste in men. So many of our legendary artists were so damaged, perhaps that flavored their music🤷🏾♀️.
I would have left him soon as I found out Ruffin was married. I'm telling y'all soul ties are real. You have sex with someone its hard to leave when u have feelings.Even if that person is abusing you. Its spiritual. Y'all be careful who you talk to and give your heart to. I bet she'd be alive if she didn't have abusive relationships. If she prioritized Christ not her career. I met James Brown and as talented as he was, he was a HOT mess.
My mom worked as Berry Gordy 's assistant in 1969. We all used to go swimming at his mansion where Diana Ross, Billy Ecstein and other stars would hang out. I met Tammi. She was a class act. Motown artists were all messing around. It was very incestuous. Pray for Gordy. He was something else. Definitely needs Christ.
Love getting those hearts. I would venture to say that most of the Motown crew grew up with the gospel. I know in Detroit..back then was the norm. Motown's music was never salacious, but something went awry. Gordy was very money hungry. As the president & founder he had control of the artists. That's an issue. It's almost like Pharoah. The artists couldn't handle the pressure, in spite of the fame, glitz and glamor. It's just not worth it. Never give someone Sovereign rule over you. That's slavery.
