You know I was watching this again today and I got to thinking, have you had him checked for bladder stones? They can be painful and since he's older now and less active it's a very good possibility. Might be why he's walking round wheeking, he's uncomfortable. I know you're a good pig mom but thought I'd mention it.
He did surgery for bladder stone August last year. After one year vet suggested us to check again so we went back to check in August. Lucky he didn't create any new blender stone.
