Haha yes hi it is I, a Ludwig fan 😂 and I loved this video! I loved hearing your knowledge on singing and you're so sweet! Thanks for reacting to this video! ❤
You don't HAVE to be italian to sing in italian but it will be quite easy for an italian to spot it. Like if someone tried to sing in my language swedish there's no way they could get away with it. Ludwig is one of the best youtubers out there.
For sure, but learning language is different to learning a performance art. The emotion and technique are the focal point there, and worrying too much about pronunciation is gonna hold you back in that area which is why she said what she said.
As someone who’s heard a lot of Italians sing in English, you’re 100% right. It’s very easy to tell when someone doesn’t understand the words they’re singing. I once heard a very cheery, Christmas rendition of Hallelujah by Rufus Wainright.
True, but you CAN get insanely good at it. You can find people who don't speak a word of English, who can do a cover of an English song so good that it sounds like they're native. That said, if you're going to get that good at it, you might as well also learn to speak the language. :D
i mean someone could do it and id say nah youd always tell but i saw sam tsui sing a whole song backwards by learning just the sounds and nonsense so that when they recorded a video in reverse his mouth would sing forward properly. some people can just learn to mimic sounds and stuff. i think on average for sure you can always tell when someone doesnt speak a language is just using the words but i also think someone could work at it enough to mimic
Absolutely!! The videos of her singing opera, Shakira, but most importantly the version of La Camisa Negra made by Gray888 where he compiles all versions into one choir performance. Her raw talent becomes really apparent when she harmonizes with herself across time. Imagine not even planning on doing that but still nailing it perfectly over years!
while youre on these you should check out Jschlatt making his own version of my way by frank sinatra, he made it because everyone was making ai covers with his voice
One thing to attribute to Ludwigs great pronounciation of italian: his mother is french and ludwig does speak french (at least abit) which might help in speaking another romance language. Edit: Your awesome energy and input made me instantly subscribe. Wish my last vocal teacher was as good and nice as you!
This is amazing. What a dream that experience would be for someone like me. I am a 38 year old who sang in high school and grew up with a mother who taught music for around 4 decades. I went into a technical career and miss my art time desperately. I loved it Lud!
I'm a Ludwig fan, I love your video! Definitely gonna check out a few others, I'm horrible at singing but I love doing it so who knows maybe I can get slightly better!
I think you will really love the band “Lawrence” EVERYTHING they put out is fantastic but I think you would enjoy their acoustic-ish versions of their songs…
Hey Missy, I have a little song suggestion for you: World o World by Jacob Collier. It's such an amazing emotional peace of music that seems to be from another world. Have a great day and thank you for your videos!!
thank you for the reaction you are very sweet!
I love you luddy
he peaked in highschool
I'm crying (in my pants)
@@ludwig Redemption for your choir solo! You did great- Thanks for your comment! Love your content ❤️
I unironically listen to the song like twice a month
Ludwig is ABSOLUTELY a theater kid masquerading as a streamer LOL.
Always has been

If they mimmicked an already existing song it could work. It's way easier to mimmick singing than talking. (I speak swedish too)
Would love to see you react to IronMouse singing!
her rendition of ave maria will always be amazing to me
yessss!!!!!!!!
Omg yessssssss

Love the reaction! would love it if you reacted to Geoff Castellucci
Great vid appreciate you
bro Lud isn't wrong about Step Brothers that also introduced me into the beauty of opera! 😅
I would love to see you react to ironmouse
I AM PREDICTING that it actually IS an AI and he is doing a TRIPLE fakeout
Nah his video is kinda old now
It's not and the video is quite old now
I think you may have been getting flustered there at the end, no shame - He's good looking.
