"Back on 74/Message in a Bottle" would definitely be my first choice too. After that you can really experience his range by listening to him busking with Sam Tompkins and The Big Push.

I LOVE the way you appreciate the humour in this. "This guy" has so much to give. If you want to see his singing, some amazing feel singing in "The Big Push Wade in the Water" busking on the streets with his band.... Modern day bard with soul. He's so multi genre multi instrumental multi talented he has no limit. Please please check out his other works. He breaks every expectation. Chalk outlines. Back on 74. I mean you really can't choose wrong. ❤❤❤
Ren drew me in, since I am a guitarist (with a lot of classical training) and also a published poet and singer. I am also a Hip-Hop head. So, he hits on everything I am into, while bringing a humanistic psychology approach, as well (I have a master's of psychology). Ren is the full package and just brings so much to the table to enjoy and relate to... and it's not just a "bonus".
Never heard a bad track from this genius musician / singer / producer / actor .. fantastic collabs ..his band the big push .. etc etc etc there is no limit to what this guy is capable of . nice reaction ..enjoy the journey .
A lot of people are about to show up. I agree with the earlier commenters -- Fred Again Mash-up and Back on 74/Message in a Bottle Retake show off a lot of his singing range. They're both pretty recent and I think his voice is maturing and/or he's feeling better. But you really can't go wrong with any of his work with The Big Push. He has a large catalog and you can't go wrong with any of it. Looking forward to more Ren, if you dive down the rabbit hole.
Looove your reaction 😍 Ren is multi talented, genius for sure ❤️ If you want to hear Ren sing sing, listen to Back on 74 / Message in a bottle retake, just mind blowing 🤯 you'll hear his range 😉 this is also a one take video performed live, just amazing vibes and Ren is just so good ❤️ Thanks 😘
It was lovely to see you laugh at Ren's humour in this song. I've seen a lot of reactions to Hi Ren, and that is noticed less often than his mental and physical health struggles, and the wisdom he has developed as a result of suffering. His music is often very emotionally vulnerable but there is a good deal of levity mixed in too. An uplifting song of his is Power. A cheeky song of his is Uninvited. Ren's done a number of interesting interviews, but for a brief summary of the kind of person he is, watch his one million subscribers video about defining success. An example of his amazing breath control: Love Music part 3. It's part of a 4 part series spanning the length of his career, but they each stand alone. It's pretty remarkable considering he used to be a heavy smoker. An example of his storytelling and acting abilities, as well as some excellent guitar playing and rapping: The Tale of Jenny and Screech. Make sure you watch the 13 minute video, which has all 3 songs in the correct order, as they make up a bigger story. An interesting example of some of the different tonal qualities Ren can produce with his singing voice is his Back on 74 retake. He was part of a busking band called the Big Push. They did an original song called Swan Song which has beautiful 3 part folk harmonies. They did a mashup cover of Wade in the water etc. which is incredible. For an example of Ren's vocal range and his ability to captivate an audience: Ren & Sam Tompkins: Earned It etc. Some excellent examples of his rapping ability: Seven Sins, the Hunger, Genesis (especially the live version), Blind Eyed (live version on the Music Crowns channel is my favourite version) Subscribed for more reactions to Ren. Also, if you haven't come across Ren's "musical sibling" Chinchilla, you will absolutely love her.
I am 46 and I just recently went down the Ren rabbit hole, he is probably one of the most talented artist I’ve ever ever heard. I don’t know if you seen it yet, but you really need to watch the trilogy of Jenny & Screech, the third song is called Violets tale, on his channel he does all three in order when they were released. I don’t think they were together, but now they are mind blowing! I’m also a big fan of murderer, and genesis. His music definitely speaks a variety of people which shows his talent. I’ve had Nueropathy for 15 years, and I live with extreme pain every day, I feel like part of that group of people who gets it and somehow put it in the words that I could never
Just wait..... Ren's range is insane, balanced equally by his incredible talent. Soooo many singing examples. If you go down the rabbit hole, you will have soooooo many hours of content, and top notch at that. Welcome to the RENaissance. New Renegade sub here.
New sub here from Arizona, I'm here for any and all Ren reactions. As a 54 year old music lover my whole life, Ren has reconfigured my mind for the better and REN-EWED my heart & soul by making me really hear music for the 1st time in my life! Thank you for the great reaction! 😊 what an amazing journey awaits you!
Welcome to the multitalented genius Ren! ❤️ This masterpiece is just the tip of the iceberg. Ren is a relatable voice for everyone dancing in the darkness as he eloquently, with all the authenticity of someone who is painfully familiar with it, lets us know that we are not alone and inspires us to keep dancing. And in doing so, Ren has literally saved lives with his art. Other Renegades will probably recommend songs like Sick Boi (though it has been removed due to some legal bullshit so we’re currently waiting for a remake) and Troubles for insight into his story with illness and years of misdiagnosis. I will just add a suggestion to check out one of my personal favourites that doesn’t get nearly as much attention as it deserves: Crutch feat. Bibi. It’s an older song from before Ren was finally correctly diagnosed with Lyme disease and was written after a breakdown following multiple emergency trips to the hospital. It is heart wrenching and stunning. Also a song where he sings without any rapping. And a little help to guide you on your journey: While I’m sure plenty of people will tell you to react to the trilogy of tales in the correct order, it is often overlooked that there are a few other songs best done in order of release (though doesn’t have to be in one sitting): Freckled Angels -> Suic!de -> For Joe. Also if you want to understand the man behind the art (and why we all love him so dearly), check out his 1m subscribers video on defining success. Ren is not just a brilliant artist but a genuinely good human being who wants to inspire positive change in the world. Hope to see you deep down the Ren rabbit hole with the rest of us 🐰🕳️
Loved your reaction and as you can see by this point the fans of Ren ( Renegades ) are very supportive of the reactor channels. Highly recommend you check out more of his music cause it only gets more mind blowing.
He's changed a lot of lives, including my own. If you want to focus on vocals, I recommend you check out his duets with Chinchilla, who is a stellar vocalist. My own favorite is "How to Be Me". "Chalk Outlines" is also amazing.
Ren and Sam Tompkins busking, Electric guitar Earned it/Man's World/Falling. And Back on 74 /Message in the Bottle. He has triggered healing and a deep sense of community among those suffering from chronic pain and mental and physical illness. He was virtually bedridden from 19 to 26 undiagnosed for ,Lyme, he has considerable brain, ,nerve, organ, damage and pain and MCAS, POTS and other autoimmunity. New song dropping on Thursday. He is a brilliant artist! We’ve come into an era where these artists are pushing the boundaries, combining multiple genres of music and really being different and I’m here for it! I love it!! Everything I’ve heard from this young man has been absolutely great!!
Ren is therapy for so many from one song he helps so many people open up in ways therapists struggle to do in person. First time i watched Hi Ren i had a panic attack but thought i needed to watch it again so i watched someone reacting to it that was the best thing i could do i have watched many times since. One thing i think about this song is it needs to be seen by every one even in schools after a certain age, because how many children kill themselves because of the negativity towards them from nasty comments and bullying to them believing what is said. I went through hell, bullied all through school to the point i attempted suicide twice, and to many issues in my life since then I am a recovering alcoholic 11 years clean I suffer PTSD and other health issues so the majority of bad days over good is high, if this bullying had been dealt with i may have had a reasonable life not the existence i have to deal with now
I really like that you just got straight into it, and weren't talking about things people realistically don't care about for 4 minutes before it begun. thanks. Great content, subscribed just for that,
Firstly 😤God bless you 😂 Ren is in so many respects the artist of this generation, his range is unlimited and he will always leave you wanting more but don't worry he always has more to give, it doesn't hurt that he's an absolute gentleman either, enjoy the ride ✌ ❤ 🐦.
Ren is Truly a Once in a Multi-Generational Artist on the Level of Shakespeare. He is a Performance Art Master who blends music and character acting from all the styles over the last 500 years and makes it Modern and Relatable to all Generations even if normally you may not be a fan of whatever genre he is currently performing. From Location and Video Directing Worthy of Tarantino or Spielberg, to Lyrics Shakespeare would have been Proud to have Written, To an Emotional Performance on par with Marlon Brando or Morgan Freeman and the Musical Prowess of Jimmy Page or Eric Clapton and the Vocal Chops of Robert Plant or M&M! The RENegades Welcome a New Member to the RENaverse! May Your Exploration of the Ren Rabbit Hole be Deep and Complete! You Won't Be Disappointed!
I think a good one to check out his range would be a busking video with him and Sam Tompkins (extremely talented as well) " Earned It/Man's World/Falling". He sings in multiple registers. Not many people point this out but I am impressed with the amount of control he has while in his lower register. I think you will definitely enjoy.
Welcome to the Ren-aissance! Ren is the most remarkable artist I've experienced in my 54 years, and his music continually helps me in my own mental health struggles. To get an idea of his vocal range, I'd strongly recommend "Back on 74/Message in a Bottle," "Fred Again Mashup," and his acoustic version of "Murderer." To hear how Ren plays with others, you'll want to check out "Chalk Outlines," "How to Be Me," and "Blind Eyed." Of course, you'll also want to react to the amazing music he did with his band, The Big Push. There's no bad place to start, really, but a lot of people start that deep dive with "I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop" (the red suspender version). Some of my other favorites are their covers of "Bongo Bong" and "Englishman in New York."
Performed live, recorded with several cameras and a lav mic. (EDIT: For his singing range, try Back in 74 / Message in a Bottle (Live retake). He covers 2 songs and raps in between showing a wide range of his talents.)
What Kind of Woman is This is a good example of Ren and the rest of his Big Push band singing. Ren began voice lessons at a point when he realized he was straining his voice busking. He's obviously been a good student!
Welcome to the wonderful world of ren, where you can always expect the unexpected 😊 he is a once in a generation type of talent, i think you will really love his music! 🥹💜💜
Welcome to Ren and the gang ;0) Chalk outlines and Back on 74 are great song to hear his art. For more serious things, there is Jenny and Screech (with all 3 parts in .... last part is called Violet)
The REN rabbit hole is deep. You really can't pick a "wrong song"to react too. My favorite is usually the one I just listened to. You will be disappointed if you try to put him in a specific genre. REN does it all. Moreover, his duets are special as he makes those around himself even better.💪🎼👍
To really hear Ren sing, you're going to want to see his range. Back on 74/Message in a Bottle is absolutely art and he credibly stands with Bowie. Go to I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop and you'll see him slide in and out of Marley while keeping his own voice. Chalk Outlines (a duet with Chinchilla) is unbelievable both for its message and the duet the two of them pull off in a one take. It's a Man's World brings out the James Brown, it goes on and on. But for me, his masterwork Is Violet's tale, the last song of the Tales Trilogy (you'll find them as the" Tales of Jenny and Screech" and do yourself a favor and watch full version which has the three parts together). Aside from an incredible story and amazing singing, he literally plays the building as a musical instrument, moving through it so that his voice changes with the acoustics of the space he's in.
Thanks for a great Ren reaction. I feel I should warn you that the Ren rabbit hole is very deep and filled with so much unbelievably amazing sonic joy of every genre there is! (Was that a bit over the top?)😂
"This guy is brilliant, I love him!!" Maybe the same words I said the first time I saw this video. Amazing reaction by the way 🤘🏼🎶. Please please do The tale of Jenny and Screach. A live one take performance master piece
Great reaction. I recommend Chalk Outlines by Ren and Chinchilla; with one of the most beautiful duets I've ever heard. Looking forward to your reaction and analysis while diving into the Ren rabbit hole.
For his singing voice, consider reacting to the cover with his old band while street busking, The Big Push - Wade in the water / Nina Simone / Trouble so hard
Such a powerful song an he has so much more for you to listen to this so called rabbit hole is deep the story teller of a life time his lyrical ability is insane along with his voice
I have struggled most of my life (57 now) with mental health problems. I am stable but depressions always com back. I was in fear of they coming back. But now I found peace. The picture with the pendulum gave me peace and finally I understood and could accept what is happening to me. I am so grateful.
All right, so after reading through the comments for a minute, I’m gonna throw my suggestions into the hat Back on 74 is a good one. It’s a more recent. What I haven’t seen are any suggestions for REN’s band called The Big Push, they did a cover of English man in New York, which is fantastic.
❤❤❤ thank you. GAL RENegade new sub for more REN. Ren not only made me find true music again but Ren is changing the world one RENegade at a time. Ren doesn't have a specific song that you can hear his whole range in. But a couple that display a few different ranges are my favorite Fred Again Mashup. And than Back on 74 Message in a bottle retake. And yes he can do sting.
I love watching others fall in love with Ren, and you really gave me a treat here! A lot of people pause on listening to Ren, because how can he top THIS? He can, and he does, consistently... Can't wait to see you react to more Ren!
Ciao from Italy! I found your channel earlier this year when you gave a reaction to Jacob Collier. Both Jacob and Ren bring tears to my eyes. They are both brilliant. Ren is so underrated , however.
Great reaction! New subscriber for your Ren journey. You're in for quite a ride! Killer vocals and musicianship. Folks will delve into all the details :) LOVE when someone who understands vocals and music experiences Ren's genius. AND he's genuinely one of the most awesome human beings on this planet. Excited for more Ren, please! 🙋♀️💖
Ren is known for one takes. They shot this 6 times it 2 stationary cameras ( left and right) and a hand held camera. They chose the best performance and only used that footage. He is wearing a mic on his gown…. He is a masterful story teller ( Jenny and Screech full). He reinvents his own work by doing acoustic versions( Murderer). He does retakes- where he layers his lyrics over another songs lyrics ( Bitter Sweet Sympathy- Halftime and Losing It.). He does crazy busking mashups with his band The Big Push ( Wade In The Water / Trouble So Hard / Nina Simone and I Shot the Sheriff/ Road To Zion/Hip Hop. The same for his collaborations with Sam Tompkins (Earned It/ Man’s World/ Falling) He has haughtiness collaborations with Chinchilla amongst others. His original work can tackle heavy subjects , but he can be joyous, inspiring, playful , and inspiring.
Welcome to the Reneverse! Next, Chalk outlines, Hot to Be Me, Fred Again Mash up, Back on 74, For Joe and Bongo Bong with the big push. All Live, all 1 take and all great!
I just saw your Hi Ren reaction, and put this journal entry of Ren's as my comment to that reaction. jAN 01, 2023 rEN~ Up until I was 9 years old, I would intermittently hear a voice in my head that was not my own. The voice was distinctly different to mine, and always negative. It would self criticize or urge me to do things I knew to be morally wrong. The most peculiar thing about the voice was that it took no effort on my behalf to produce. My own thoughts always felt like there was a process that required effort to bring them to the forefront of my mind, this voice appeared as though it was spoken by another. The sentences felt predetermined like they had already been constructed. I remember very vividly at 9 years old, becoming very frustrated with the voice. I stood in my back yard, internally screaming at the voice to be silent again and again, and it did. In a flash there was silence, to the point where my head felt like an empty room. I wasn't used to the quiet and that voice never returned. It almost felt lonely in my head. When I got older I had intermittent bouts with auditory hallucinations where I would hear perfect symphonies, usually at night when drifting off to sleep. They were so clear that they sounded like they were emanating from a radio in the corner of my room. I knew they weren't there, but for some reason they never came with the feeling of fear. I also recall sitting on a bus at the age of 15, and hearing the sound of a crowded room, with about 100 voices chattering away, I was the only person apart from the driver on the bus. These experiences were always very brief, and few and far between. My last hallucination was during an intense bout of psychosis in 2015, and was my first visual hallucination. I was walking down a pavement after jumping out my mums car in a crossroads in a moment of frustration and distress with my condition. I was trying to run from myself. What appeared to be a homeless man with a dark complexion approached me, and asked me what was wrong. I explained that I had been sick most my life, and I wasn't sure I had the strength to continue. He looked at me, and smiled and told me 'everything is going to be okay in the end Ren.' I had not told him my name. There was something so overpoweringly sincere about this very simple message, which brought with it an overwhelming feeling of inner peace, and in a flash, he vanished. My rational brain always linked these experiences to what the doctors have told me, that there are parts of my brain compromised by the autoimmunity in my body. That the myelin sheaths surrounding the complex electrical system that conduct my thoughts were damaged and compromised, causing these lucid experiences that I knew did not exist inside the physical world. The part of me that edges away from logical and rational thought always attributed these thoughts to some kind of otherworldly intervention, that made my thoughts the battleground of some spiritual tug of war. For a long time I never really acknowledged this part of myself, for with it brought the danger and stigma of sounding like a crazy person. I decided with my latest release, to the best of my ability, to capture and express this chess match of thought. Hi Ren comes out in just over 24 hours. I can't wait for you all to hear it.
Thank you for sharing this! I knew quite a bit about his condition, in terms of the misdiagnosed Lyme's disease, but nothing about his youth. Auditory hallucinations are amazing, but also frustrating! This beautiful sounding music is composed and played out in my mind, but no way to write it out or record it without losing anything. 🥺
Welcome to Ren !! Listen to Fred Again mash up it is 5 Fred Again songs mashed up into a acoustical version of all songs into 1 So good and his vocal range is incredible !! All of his songs are pretty profound ! And his speeches
Fantastic reaction!! You are in for such a treat!! Back on 74 is another giod vocalone to watch. I love Ren and Chinchilla in How to be Me. Enjoy the journey. I subbed for more ❤❤❤
71 yr old Scotsman here. I absolutely loved your exciting reaction to Hi Ren. As others have said, you really are in for a treat if you decide to go down the Ren rabbit hole. I'm subbing in the hope that you will do many of his songs as no two are alike and you WILL be further blown away.
REN is a one man symphony. There really is nobody else like him. Thankful to experience an artist like him in my lifetime. His collection of works is vast and diverse. Renegades will chime in with some next reaction suggestions for you. Based on HI REN being your first, I think Chalk Outlines Live and the Tale of Jenny & Screech & Violet (make sure all three at once) would be good next ones to experience. Thanks for the reaction ❤🩹❤🩹
Definitely check out Back on 74 / Message in a bottle for vocals. I don't think I can remember a musician that has affected me as much as Ren. His talent and the huge amount of work he (and his gifted friends) put into his creations are just stunning.
Ren fans (called Renegades) as well as millions of people are inspired by him and his music. He is a visionary in music. Please watch his 30 minute video that he posted day before yesterday. It is a must watch to anyone who is an artist and has or had experience in the industry. You also get to experience the kind of person he is. Now, he has a number of vocal tracks that many vocal coaches react to. Fred Again Mashup and Back on 74/Message in a Bottle Retake show some of his range.
welcome to the Ren Rabbitt Hole... Be prepared, he has more genius pouring out of his every pore in his body. A true generational artist! His catalog is extensive, not every song is about his illness. I was a professional T-Bone player for over 20 years! I was very blessed and had the opportunity to play for some super talented and huge artists. I am 63 and Ren is already one of my all-time favorite artists....
Yes. Yes to it all. Yours is a favorite reaction. And there's nuance to the visuals, his musical folio is OMG diverse and all of it pulls at least me (most likely anyone who geeks out on all of his talent-writing, performing, singing, playing, creating-and he cuts hair, lol-and relates to the world). I think you're going to be so pleasantly, happily surprised. The bottom line, he's one of the most fearless, authentic, honest, let alone talented artist. Have fun!
Ren is remarkable. 🥰 Subscribing to follow you on this adventure. For a vocal tour-de-force from Ren, his Fred Again retake (a mashup of several Fred Again songs) is phenomenal.
He was misdiagnosed for at least ten years and given pharmaceuticals that treat mental illness! And all it was was a tick bite! Family and friends collected money to send him to Belgium to see a tropical doctor. That guy couldn't believe what he saw, if treated early, the right way, total recovery can be achieved in months. Letting this go for ten years can give you permanent damage or even death!
Loved this reaction! I've probably watched over 50 reactions to Hi Ren and this one is top tier. Never heard anyone say the middle section sounded like Primus and now I can't unhear it lol. You are in for a treat. The Renegades are a wonderful bunch and we are here for your trip down the rabbit hole! Keep them coming!
I’ve watched many of your reaction videos, and I’ve watched dozens of reactions to Ren videos. So imagine my delight to see that you posted this. Not only is he brilliantly creative, he can sound like Sting, Bob Marley, and many others, as well as having his own personal singing style. You’ll enjoy hearing his different songs, even though many of them have dark and painful content. I’d like to recommend his Englishman in New York (with the band The Big Push), I Shot the Sheriff, Murderer, Chalk Outlines (a duet with Chinchilla), and The Hunger.
I am a 73 year old great-grandmother, and i love this "song", and your reaction. Now - also another find for me, Yebba singing Boomerang (live). She's another great artist, with a memorable voice.
I've been taking some time to watch Hi Ren reacts ... and getting off on the feels like the monsters in Monster's Inc collected screams. My son is in a psych ward, 6 mnths next week. In the belly of the beast innit I really appreciated you sharing your reaction AND I really appreciated you NOT throwing a chunk of adverts in. Thank you, honestly, thank you for that. Good luck with the singing stuff. Music is of the soul and you seem lovely. Cheers
Many of rens songs are accoustic and recorded live like these one Hi Ren. You could analyse the vicals and live performance of singing singin ren in a duet with chinchilla in " Chalk outlines" and " How to be me " Peace✌️
Welcome to the RENegades. You are about to fall down a very deep and winding rabbit hole. One that leaves a mark on I would say everyone who finds it. 😀
Hey Missy, it's Kemp. Great reaction!! The first time I saw this it blew me away too. His lyricism, emotion, and musicality all combine to create a perfect storm of performance art. I think, in the "flamenco style" part at the end, he even seems (to my untrained ears) to be playing and singing in two different time signatures as well. So impressive!! Someone said once in a comment on his page "this is not a performance, it's a soul exploding into art" I've been following him since this video came out, and have yet to be disappointed, or even unimpressed by his work. Great seeing you again. Keep up the grind.❤🤘😎 U RAWK!!
Terrific reaction! Ren is a vocal chameleon. You have just scratched the surface. Try his FRED AGAIN MASH UP for some crazy vocal gymnastics.
Agreed my friend. Definitely one of his best vocal performances 😊❤
I agree, too. Back on 74/Message in a Bottle as well.
@@tdshow4287 I was going to include BO74/Message and also WADE IN THE WATER/NINA SIMONE/TROUBLE SO HARD for belting, because man, does he belt on that!

@@toria-j Ren's not human. The range he covers ON THE STREET doing Man's World in the video with Sam Tompkins IS NOT HUMAN!
His mash up of Back on 74/Message in a Bottle does a good job of showcasing his vocal range in my opinion.
And shows straight joy in a performer, and then a group of performers. It is as close to perfection as you will see!! 😊
"Back on 74/Message in a Bottle" would definitely be my first choice too.
After that you can really experience his range by listening to him busking with Sam Tompkins and The Big Push.
Yes!
I’m a 69 yr old great grandmother. I’ve been around for many years and I was a teenager in the 70s. I have never heard anybody like this young man. He’s freaking brilliant. Really has helped so many people. You should hear him play the keys!

So so soooo much of this. ☝️ 👏👏👏
A good example of his range is the mash up "I Shot the Sheriff, Road to Zion, Hip Hop" (red suspender version") busking.
The best mashup!
That was the first example I thought of also when she mentioned his range.
Just a note that this will be on his former band’s channel, The Big Push

He change my life. He is so much more than a music artist. He is simply an amazing human being with talents enough to share over a small country❤️
Ren is a whole genre in one artist.. great reaction 🎉
The "cower at the man I've become" gets me every, single time. He's absolutely amazing, makes me cry every time I hear it.
"He is way beyond"
As you dig into him and his other music/art/personality, you will see just how true that statement is.

Some excellent examples of his rapping ability: Seven Sins, the Hunger, Genesis (especially the live version), Blind Eyed (live version on the Music Crowns channel is my favourite version)
Subscribed for more reactions to Ren.
I’ve had Nueropathy for 15 years, and I live with extreme pain every day, I feel like part of that group of people who gets it and somehow put it in the words that I could never
Please go for more ren, you'll love every choice of his catalog. Renegades will be here.
Highly caffeinated amongst other things..... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hope to see you deep down the Ren rabbit hole with the rest of us 🐰🕳️
Your sub count is about to grow incredibly! Ren is fantastic, has over 200 uploads here on RUclips!!
You now know the tale of jenny and screech in full amongst many others will be filling your comments up. New subscriber!
OMG, I never connected Primus, but as soon as you said it I couldn't unhear it in that passage. Great observation and reaction!
Great reaction video.... New sub from a huge Ren and his amazing talented friends (Chinchilla, Sam Tompkins, Romain Axisa and many more) Thanks
Ren and Sam Tompkins busking,
Electric guitar
Earned it/Man's World/Falling.
Would love for you to join us in Support of Ren , KUJO BEAT DOWN.
Details on his Community pageand last video post
He is a brilliant artist! We’ve come into an era where these artists are pushing the boundaries, combining multiple genres of music and really being different and I’m here for it! I love it!! Everything I’ve heard from this young man has been absolutely great!!
Yup, I believed music to be dead for the last thirty years! And now I see ppl like Ren, Chinchilla or Ronnie Radke and am totally stoked!
Ren is therapy for so many from one song he helps so many people open up in ways therapists struggle to do in person.
First time i watched Hi Ren i had a panic attack but thought i needed to watch it again so i watched someone reacting to it
that was the best thing i could do i have watched many times since. One thing i think about this song is it needs to be seen
by every one even in schools after a certain age, because how many children kill themselves because of the negativity
towards them from nasty comments and bullying to them believing what is said. I went through hell, bullied all through
school to the point i attempted suicide twice, and to many issues in my life since then I am a recovering alcoholic 11 years
clean I suffer PTSD and other health issues so the majority of bad days over good is high, if this bullying had been dealt
with i may have had a reasonable life not the existence i have to deal with now
I really like that you just got straight into it, and weren't talking about things people realistically don't care about for 4 minutes before it begun.
Welcome to the world of REN. He is a artist like no other. Enjoy this ride for it will be an epic emotional roller coaster.
To get an idea of his vocal range, I'd strongly recommend "Back on 74/Message in a Bottle," "Fred Again Mashup," and his acoustic version of "Murderer."
To hear how Ren plays with others, you'll want to check out "Chalk Outlines," "How to Be Me," and "Blind Eyed."
Of course, you'll also want to react to the amazing music he did with his band, The Big Push.
I second that recommendation. 👍
Yeah, good call.
The Fred again mashup is my favorite for vocal
Ren and Sam Tompkins Blind eyed fantastic
What Kind of Woman is This is a good example of Ren and the rest of his Big Push band singing. Ren began voice lessons at a point when he realized he was straining his voice busking. He's obviously been a good student!
Welcome to the wonderful world of ren, where you can always expect the unexpected 😊 he is a once in a generation type of talent, i think you will really love his music! 🥹💜💜
Welcome to Ren and the gang ;0)
Chalk outlines and Back on 74 are great song to hear his art.
Welcome to the rabbit hole of Ren and the world of BARDCORE!!!
This one doesn’t get mentioned enough, imo!
This!! So beautiful.
WELCOME to the Renisphere!
This has to be established more lmao
This young man doesn't sing believe me he SANGS 🎶🎵🤌. Buckle up buttercup 🤯😉🙏💪🐝🍀🇬🇧
All right, so after reading through the comments for a minute, I’m gonna throw my suggestions into the hat Back on 74 is a good one. It’s a more recent. What I haven’t seen are any suggestions for REN’s band called The Big Push, they did a cover of English man in New York, which is fantastic.
So I think his (Ren) 13:33 band The big push's version of I shot the sheriff . That really showcases his vocal abilities. And it's in a live setting .
Hi from Ireland. Just found your channel. Great reaction. I love to hear some of the technical stuff cause I never stop singing all day long 😊❤
❤❤❤ thank you.
Folks will delve into all the details :)
LOVE when someone who understands vocals and music experiences Ren's genius. AND he's genuinely one of the most awesome human beings on this planet.
Excited for more Ren, please! 🙋♀️💖
for range check out "Back on 74" for harmonies "Chalk Outlines" for knockout emotional impact "Su!cide"
For a vocal coach, I'd suggest Freckled Angels (live) followed by For Joe instead of Su!cide. I agree on knockout emotional impact!
The same for his collaborations with Sam Tompkins (Earned It/ Man’s World/ Falling)
He has haughtiness collaborations with Chinchilla amongst others.
His original work can tackle heavy subjects , but he can be joyous, inspiring, playful , and inspiring.
Shot 4 times, 3 cameras. The audio is from one take. The video spliced form multiple.
Welcome to the Reneverse! Next, Chalk outlines, Hot to Be Me, Fred Again Mash up, Back on 74, For Joe and Bongo Bong with the big push. All Live, all 1 take and all great!
I just saw your Hi Ren reaction, and put this journal entry of Ren's as my comment to that reaction.

rEN~
Up until I was 9 years old, I would intermittently hear a voice in my head that was not my own.
Well done. Welcome. Ren is different. Fred Again! You’ll love it!
A lot of people recommending "Chalk Outlines" next (which is a great choice). But be sure to do the live version.
Welcome to Ren !! Listen to Fred Again mash up it is 5 Fred Again songs mashed up into a acoustical version of all songs into 1 So good and his vocal range is incredible !! All of his songs are pretty profound ! And his speeches
Welcome to the reneverse Enjoy the ride. Your channel is about to blow up. I am going to enjoy watching your journey.
Enjoyed your reaction. Ren is a once in a lifetime artist. ❤ Enjoy the ride! Can’t go wrong when tappin into his catalog.
Definitely check out Back on 74 / Message in a bottle for vocals. I don't think I can remember a musician that has affected me as much as Ren.
His talent and the huge amount of work he (and his gifted friends) put into his creations are just stunning.
100% right, this changed my course of action towards life. Deep dive his backstory, it’ll make sense of the rest of your journey.
Welcome to Ren,enjoy the ride,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I'm jealous of you. You are about to be blown away. The i shot the sheriff medley next would blow your mind and help you acclimate to Ren's genius.
Subscribed for the rabbithole!! ❤❤❤
Have fun!
This video makes me tear up every time.
Ren is remarkable. 🥰
Subscribing to follow you on this adventure.
For a vocal tour-de-force from Ren, his Fred Again retake (a mashup of several Fred Again songs) is phenomenal.
Ya, he’s blown most of us away ♥️ And continues to do so.
With. Every. Single. Song.
Great reaction!
In the belly of the beast innit
I really appreciated you sharing your reaction
AND I really appreciated you NOT throwing a chunk of adverts in. Thank you, honestly, thank you for that.
Good luck with the singing stuff. Music is of the soul and you seem lovely. Cheers
Many of rens songs are accoustic and recorded live like these one
Hi Ren.
You could analyse the vicals and live performance of singing singin ren in a duet with chinchilla in
" Chalk outlines" and " How to be me "
Peace✌️
....the moment in the monologue at the end when you realized that this wasn't just a song, but a testimony....
You have no idea of how many subs you can get from Ren!
Welcome to the RENegades. You are about to fall down a very deep and winding rabbit hole. One that leaves a mark on I would say everyone who finds it. 😀
Chalk outlines, how to be me, Fred again, I Shot the Sheriff/road to zion/hip hop mashup, warpigs all show his singing well
Hey Missy, it's Kemp.
