Please check out his song Crutch feat. Bibi! One of my absolute favourite Ren songs. Just stunning and very different from everything else he has done. Though that doesn’t necessarily say much as that’s often the case 😂 Anyway this song is definitely in my top 5 too. Such a fricking masterpiece. The contrast between the raw rapping and beautiful singing is just perfect and the production is amazing. Ren is truly something special. Also I love all the little bits of reoccurring lyrics throughout these songs. It’s like everything is connected in a Reniverse tapestry and I can’t wait to hear how the entire album works together. Clever, creative, and so authentic 🐰🕳️

Am I terrible to also find that the fragile beauty of the song is matched only by the exquisite physicality of Ren in this video? And please do not mistake my meaning to allude to some kind of thirst trap; rather, it's the intoxicating dynamic of his palpable vulnerability contrasted against the unapologetically bold ferocity of which he lays bare his soul. It's as if he has become his art personified, as only the most authentically forthcoming can be, and in that bravery of will and character lies something so purely beautiful the reveal in itself is a revelation. 🌈ᥫ᭡
In his 1 million-subscriber thank you speech, (I may be paraphrasing slightly) Ren advised those “feeling hate against their fellow man”, to feel that hate/pain, express it, then let it go and find new peace. Seems like he is taking his own advice in Masochist and Lost All Faith. He wrote them during his darkest times, then took that pain, disillusion, desperation, depression and frustration and expressed it in songs about killing the whole world and losing his faith with everything. He created art. I’m in awe.🤯
He's had these tracks since 2021, though like suicide he may dabble before he puts them out - and Money Game 3 was new based on the success of Hi Ren he felt he needed to go larger.

The thing that blows me away is all these songs he's been releasing since Hi Ren are all for the album Sick Boi. Think about those songs for a moment... there's no filler in there. There's no songs that just fell flat. I mean it's just an amazing feat to release an album and it's just filled with bangers, one right after the other. And each explores something new. Just unreal to watch it all unfold.
All but the recent acoustic versions were recorded before last December in preparation for Ren going to treatment in Canada, so hes not just quickly recording them.
Ren is in his own lane no one can match him. You never know what you are going to get. That's why he is so exciting. However as a lyricist HE IS UNMATCHED. I'm English and the one thing above all else in my country I am proud of is our musicians we have had some of the greatest come from this tiny country. Beatles, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Bowie, Queen, Motorhead and I could sit and list them all. Through Ren I have found Chinchilla Viktus, Sam The big push. We have I think 10 of the 18 tracks off Sick Boi now, and they're all fire. Not a single filler track. Insane. And the two tracks that excite Ren the most are still to be released. Money Game pt 3 and Seven Sins.

Great reaction. In my opinion all of his latest releases had one theme in common: Ren as a Sick Boi (duh, it's the title of the album I know). What I mean is, his latest songs all touched on similar topics, just from different angles (death, coming to terms with mortality, pain, despair, hopelessness, anger, sickness, mental health...). It is so fascinating to see so many faces of Ren and his incredible talent!

Ren said he had over 2 years worth of music stashed on a hardrive in rough form. His treatments in Canada have given him a bit a reprieve and Kyle said he cranks when he's able.
That last comment had me in reminiscing tears 😂 I actually ran into my childhood "superstar" a couple months back. But he looked busy and I didn't want to intrude so I just nodded when he looked my way and waved. He looked super confused and nodded back. Just a day later it came to me that that guy is actually not very famous and probably not used to people even recognizing him on the street. So he might have been fully ok with me just coming over and asking for an autograph or something. Damn me. I was too star-struck in the moment. But it was a moment I will never forget :)

Take a look at his songs Heretic, Dear god, Diazepam, Hold On and Patience as examples of these themes reoccurring in his work over the years. The next song to be released will be Money Game part 3 on October 12th, the day before the album drops. You have a little time to go back through his catalogue a bit. I don't think you've seen Power, right? Here's a plug for that one, it's amazing!

I know this video is older, but I have to say just 'cause it came to mind. My mother also has Lyme disease and 5-6 yrs ago thought she was going to die, her art and her family are what got her through. Sometimes, as an artist, when your life or health is out of control, the only thing you CAN do is create something, even if it's just to get it OUT of your head. Art and music are powerful things that can get people through even when faith is cracking under the pressure IMHO. Just my 2 cents. I love your stuff!!!

You guys are one of my favorite reactors. I am loving Ren’s music so much. If you enjoyed his singing voice you should check him out in the band he use to be in called The Big Push. They have their own music as well as covers. They were largely a street performing band. Not sure how well it would do on your channel. On other channels it does well, but who knows. So I believe the album sick boi was primarily based upon his journey while ill. For example lockdown was the hardest time where he couldn't pick up a guitar as he was in bed for a year as he couldn't move. So The lyrics probably came from then. The leaf's at the end i believe "come on over, could you be the one" i believe is Canada where he is getting treatment.
Great reaction to a fantastic song guys. I was wondering if Kyle might see the same thing I did in this song stylewise. If I had to compare it to anything I feel its closest to the more poppy experiments by the likes of BMTH and Architects, it just somehow feels metal-ish to me.

You guys are one of my favorite reactors. I am loving Ren’s music so much. If you enjoyed his singing voice you should check him out in the band he use to be in called The Big Push. They have their own music as well as covers. They were largely a street performing band. Not sure how well it would do on your channel. On other channels it does well, but who knows. If you do not like the idea of reacting to them on your channel, check them out on your own to see another side of Ren. You won’t be disappointed, then maybe tell us what you thought. I would settle for just your thoughts on Ren and his band The Big Push, if not your reaction. Ren has an extensive back catalogue of music. Great as always guys. ❤❤❤

So I believe the album sick boi was primarily based upon his journey while ill. For example lockdown was the hardest time where he couldn't pick up a guitar as he was in bed for a year as he couldn't move. So The lyrics probably came from then. The leaf's at the end i believe "come on over, could you be the one" i believe is Canada where he is getting treatment.

Great reaction to a fantastic song guys. I was wondering if Kyle might see the same thing I did in this song stylewise. If I had to compare it to anything I feel its closest to the more poppy experiments by the likes of BMTH and Architects, it just somehow feels metal-ish to me.
