Just put mine in my 86 MC with a 4l80e. Had a B&M,the difference is night n day. My car has never shifted so smooth...Money well spent and i didnt have to do any modifications. Drop right in...
@@chrisspann5192 i have the winters console shifter and a 5 speed auto trans. My shifter plate was custom made to add the 5th gear mechanism. But you can add it on the 05 Mustang depending what transmission you have in it at the moment.

I was looking to have this on my 700r4. If I put the shifter into the 4th gear slot, does it automatically shift like a regular shifter? And I can downshift to what gear I want? Or am I going to have to manually switch every gear?
Does the shifter have any instructions with it? I can't seem to find an installation vid on anything other than a Jeep on youtube. I'm going to install it on a TH400 that's in my '92 GMC 1500.

I am pretty surr you said something like in rhe line of them being pretty much the same except one has a console and the other doesnt

I got a 1 ton 4X4 Ford E 350 with the 7.3L Powerstroke & an E4OD. I like the 1, 2, 3 as long as I can grab Overdrive.
That was my question, the E4OD is a 4 speed transmission but this shifter only has 3 speeds apparently. How can you shift into 4th?

Winters rear cable exit , ATI front cable exit both same shifter.

As long as you haven't installed a full manual valve body in your transmission it will shift like stock in 3 (d) or 4 (od)

There is not a 6 speed shifter. What transmission are you asking about?
