@@AngelaSalatino1 think John Carter as a mix of his mother and his father in his vocals, but I do agree Thomas definitely can hit those lows better then John can. Which I think is why John had Thomas do those lows, is because he did sound so much like Johnny.

I have 3 MOST FAVORITE singers ever that I've had since I was about 10-12 years old Greg Allman, Johnny Cash & Waylon Jennings. I've been playing hurt daily as of late. Both Johnny Cash's version and nine inch nails. I just recently overcame a 20-year opioid addiction without knowing Johnnys story, without that song, I don't think I would have made it through the life-threatening detox. I realized that even with all the dope, that song and Johnny's video and trents version, it forced me to feel emotions. It forced me to face my mortality. And most importantly it forced me to realize that if I didn't get better or die trying now, but I wasn't going to get to experience life. I wasn't going to get to know what it was like to be a daddy. Or to make something respectable and inspirational out of myself. Quite frankly you guys feel like family to me even though I've never met you. I live in Clarksville Tennessee... I'm a folk musician myself. I'm so serious I don't think I would have survived if it wasn't for Johnny Cash and Trent reznor. A lot of people don't even know you can die from withdrawals like that from opioids but you 100% can. I was so scared because some hospitals would turn you away and say you couldn't die from that even though I was asking for their help. Play Johnny Cash gave me the kind of motivation where I didn't care if I died trying because it was much more respectable to die trying even with everyone kicking me in the teeth all the while as opposed to dying an apathetic loser. Johnny Cash is the greatest American that ever lived. John Wayne ain't got s*** on Johnny Cash
