Hello Thomas. I do hope you remember me the Cash family's old friend Lars Lindfors from Sweden. Remember when my family stayed in your grandpas mountain home the summer of 1991. I also treasure the memory when you invited me and Gunnel your mom and Jimmy for dinner in Nashville 1999 and you showed me Waylon Jennings old red Cadillac. We have watched your videos on RUclips during the last weeks and needless to say we are very impressed. You sound great and I like your stage presence. Your version of I still miss someone is very moving. I sang I still miss someone on my son Davids funeral. David took his life on a cold saturday morning february 4th 2023. He had a daughter 12 years old. Maybe you remember him? He was 40 years old and we miss him so. Please can your inform your mother about this tragedy. I would appreciate to keep in touch. How can I get in touch with you and your family? You are a survivor and your life story is inspiring to me. Good luck Thomas and God bless you. Your swedish friend Lars
Hi Lars, I’m happy to hear from you but so sad and sorry to hear about David. What a tragedy for you, his daughter and all that love him. I’m so sorry. Obviously I won’t post my personal info here but we need to reconnect! Jimmy and I are well. We celebrate our 41 anniversary this month. We’d love to hear from you! Much love, Kathy
I'm sitting here crying like a baby seeing the image of your Grandpa with that acoustic and his piano, remembering what he was going through when he covered this. You sound just like him Thomas! Your voice took me through the entire experience of that video over again.
It's Beyond startling to hear you sing I can feel your emotions in your voice 😮 we are Feeling that your the Beginning of the rebirth of real country music the old blues of the singers soul God bless you and your Family and Friends
Holy shit. You would absolutely sell out big shows all across America just playing your grandpas songs. Keep it up. I’d love love to see you Whey Jennings Chris Stapleton Oliver Anthony and Willie Nelson get on the road.
Wow!! Gave me goosebumps!! Johnny would be so proud to have his voice imprinted for an extra generation. Give Thomas the big record deal and all he deserves!!!
Man I know you already know this, but you sound almost identical to your Grandfather! He was one of the best and you are so much like him. Don't you know he's so proud of you!
Hearing your voice took me back to a time when country music was the real deal for me. You have an amazing voice and I hope you’ll continue to use your talents.
as kid I knew I could never met Jonny cash but now at the ripe age of 19 I got Mr Thomas your voice reminds me growing up with my pops god rest his soul..so thank you for your Beautiful voice sir
Id 100% see you in concert. Reminds me of your pops. Ever since i was a kid johnny cash has been my idol, now im old enough to be able to go but he's gone god rest his soul. Keep up the amazing work!
A lot of people can sing Johnny Cash in a deep voice, but Thomas definitely inherited a kind of deep vibrato in his soul from his grandad that only can be passed on by blood.
It’s just so eerie. And yet so joyous that someone has been blessed with this beautiful voice and can share it with the world. Please don’t ever stop, Johnny was a special gift and so are you!
Thank you so much for this. I have been missing my forever 36 y/o son today. Thank you for the peace I received from this song. Blessings abound. God bless you all.
You’re so incredibly talented! You totally embody your grandfather in both looks and voice. I can also see your grandmother in your face. The Cash family blows me away with their talent. So glad I found your music.
As someone who was raised on country, specifically your grandads, I am glad to see that you carry on his legacy by reviving his voice and songs. Also am struggling with missing someone that I might as well be dead to, so thank you for your music
I’m 17 and my dad was a pretty old guy. He would play wreak of ol 97 on his chest record player. Me and my brother would ride around the table on our little tricycles.
It isn't up for debate your heritage, everyone can clearly hear that. Something tells me God gave you that voice not just to honour a legacy that shall stand the test of time. But to also add your own spin in the midst of that also. Keep God at your side, and he shall lead you places you never thought possible.
😢chills man. You have an amazing voice. You're incredibly talented like your grandfather 🙏. Please record more of his music and yours. I'd love to buy an album . God bless you and your family 🙏
