In the movie I Walk the Line Joaquin Phoenix did his own singing and he sounded and acted just like Johnny Cash, Roy Clark does an excellent Imitation of Johnny Cash. This guy was great

You should really watch the movie. It's among the very few movies I bothered to get on DVD because it's just that good and I watch it at least once a year.

My grandfathers favorite artist of all time was Johnny Cash. He even met him a few times. The last time he did was in 2001. He always played his music for me when I was growing up. My grandpa passed away in February 2010 at 65 of cancer when I was 11 years old. Every time I think of him I’ll play some of Johnnys music. When I first heard this version on Instagram a couple days ago I got chills. Your grandpas music will live on forever.

I'm 29 & a big fan of Your late grandfather and grandmother. Absolutely love their music and people stare at me like how can I be a fan of such older music as opposed to m generations music. INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the late 50's my mother was very young and slipped into a concert in West Texas auditorium....it was your grandfather and Elvis! She and her girlfriend sat in her car waiting for Elvis to leave....your grandfather walked up to her car....was so kind to her....gave her an autograph and shook her hand.....i have the concert flyer framed....and hangs in my house .....you are amazing!

I've listened to a few of these but on this one... I can hear Johnny through you. I know you want to be your own man in music and I enjoy some of your songs. I do have to say though the world sorely needs this voice, these types of songs again. Its more than just a similarity.

I always loved him even as a very young girl of 5 or so. His voice, and I was intrigued by his dark lyrics. Keep up the amazing music. 😊

Ive always loved your grandfather. Had most of his albums and I'm 32. I found him at the age of 17 and fell in love with the music. Then walk the line came out and his story just made me love him more. The fact you're doing this with your dad is so so awesome. You have your grand daddys voice that's for sure 😃

I was born in Warren Arkansas 35 miles from Kingsland Arkansas and 1/2 mile from the hospital where I was born was Otis Cash propane shop where as a teenager Johnny Cash his nephew would work sometimes during the summer and on his lunch break Johnny would sit out back on the loading dock and play his guitar and sing which I was told by my Farther who just so happens to be a second cousin to the king of Rock-n-Roll.
