Low 2G Wi-Fi scores. I was excited about this model but it has too many deal breakers for me, is best that I pass on it and wait for a S905x4 model chipset.
Thanks for the analysis and review. Have you checked the ethernet wide band?. The spec says it works until 1MM Mbs, but I'm not sure it's like that because, I have fiber as of 300Mbs and the test only reachs 50-60Mbs. Another test were made to check the band (play 4, notebook) with lan cable.
The only thing I like about this box is the 8 GB RAM and the fact that it can run 64 bits applications ! The gaming features are of no use to me as I'm no gamer . I bought the TOX1 that a lot of reviewers praised and I'm very satisfied with it's performance . I still don't understand why Dolby True HD isn't included in all the new boxes and why they don't configure the boxes to run 64 bits apps. Thanks for yours reviews . they help a lot !
Linux or Ubuntu can be install on an SD card, or external hard-drive. You can also replace the Andriod instillation totally and gain 64bit access from the hardware. To the average joe this worthless. To the fans in the linux community and github this can be useful especially in this new crypto currency era.

This is not the same as yours or the other one you tested?

There are many. What other features are important to you will determine what box I recommend. The kicker is always the word budget. Budget boxes are no good and usually not worth it.

You need to buy a box with Samba server settings, or can access your NAS server. There are apps that can do this and there are boxes with built in features. Any of the Ugoos AM6 models has this server feature. Also the Beelink GT King models. The TOX1 which is also a Ugoos brand. The Ugoos X2/X3/ X2 Pro/X3 Pro models also.

nick I see that this tv box sets has everything to be good, but I see that the software used in them ends up making them bad, regulated and still lacking access to many things, mainly referring to google and games and app, which don't accept download, and games that can be played with the game pad. they should have more observation about these operating systems, so that they are a great usability device.

No root = not good. Antutu benchmark result is similar to one of x96 max+. 8 gb of ram memory, but the result is quite average. Thanks for your test & presentation.
I have a Panasonic 4K TV, and I can't even get this box to display on this TV. I have an old Panasonic HD TV, and it works fine on this. However I could not get the remote control to pair with the box without connecting a mouse to the box and using it to get into the settings menu!

I am considering subscribing to another IPTV and I need another good box for this purpose. I am quite happy with the A95X R3 but wouldn't mind getting another one that offers a better picture. Any suggestion, please?
For IPTV I usually recommend BuzzTV TV boxes for their direct client server feature. Any A95X F3/F4 model will do. there is a new A95X model on the way but it will arrive in a couple of weeks.

Looks like they jumped on the android 11 bus too early should maybe have waited and stuck with Android 9 or possibly 10 this box looks like a beast but is let down by buggy android 11 will be a while before the bugs get ironed out. Great to see a box taking of 64 bit API though and hopefully more manufacturers will move in that direction.

I have a dream to open my own gaming lounge, but due to not having enough funds I want to start off with an all android gaming, relying on android tv boxes of which I think will be affordable. With this box when there's an upgrade on Android version they never push it to the boxes so you will be left out on the cool. You might want to spent and buy Nvidia Shield TV they push the updates all the time. It support 4K Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos and you throw anything to it and you disappoint you at all. This is not even 4K. I will rather by Nvidia than waste money on this boxes.
The more videos I see on your channel the more I think I should just get Nvidia shield Pro and get over with it 😂 but it's like $300 here just too expensive to get it for 4k 10bit nas streaming
Maybe spend a bit more time focusing on programming ease. The remote included is really horrible. Using it to program the device was a nightmare. Took two to three times as long as it should have. Received the box today and the remote wouldn’t function at all with my TCL Google TV. Reconnected the box to an old LG and was finally able to get the remote paired with the device using a separate remote and dongle to do so. I ordered a new remote and dongle a few minutes ago. The box does not work well with any of the popular launcher programs. Very frustrating. I’ll live with the default launcher for now. Now that the box is programmed, hopefully the value of this purchase will become apparent. That has not been the case so far.
Well I can't say that I'm surprised as this box as shown in my video has lots of issues. I intend to revisit to see if there are and custom firmware for it.

I don't to emulation gaming so I wouldn't know where to start. I know it an emulator and you need a rom, but it has been years since my teen age years since I have done it. With the coming of all Android devices 64bit I guess I will sooner or later have to return to it.

That's a firmware bug in this box. Because they were sure 4K was working until it left for the US TVs

Yes I have. In my test which was at the time 150Mbps clocked about 134Mbps so it fell short a bit 10:06

I see what you did but why didn't you use my link to get the exact model. The model I reviewed is not the V56 or V58 it's not V anything.
I bet xbox game pass, stadia and shadow pc would run very well on that box, it's definitely more powerful than my box and mine is pretty decent.

I have a Panasonic 4K TV, and I can't even get this box to display on this TV. I have an old Panasonic HD TV, and it works fine on this. However I could not get the remote control to pair with the box without connecting a mouse to the box and using it to get into the settings menu!

I am considering subscribing to another IPTV and I need another good box for this purpose. I am quite happy with the A95X R3 but wouldn't mind getting another one that offers a better picture. For IPTV I usually recommend BuzzTV TV boxes for their direct client server feature. Any A95X F3/F4 model will do. there is a new A95X model on the way but it will arrive in a couple of weeks.

Looks like they jumped on the android 11 bus too early should maybe have waited and stuck with Android 9 or possibly 10 this box looks like a beast but is let down by buggy android 11 will be a while before the bugs get ironed out. Great to see a box taking of 64 bit API though and hopefully more manufacturers will move in that direction.

Will it must be rooted or has a root switch. It's Google play store and play services must be updatable and fully accessible. And the firmware must be able to access the hardware is display features such as HDR, 4K display, and Dolby vision. The perfect gaming machines usually run on the Amlogic S922X/S922X-J for high and gaming. Amlogic S905X4/Amlogic S905X3 for midrange gaming. At this time do not consider Rockchip or Allwinner models their performance is poor when it comes to gaming.

With this box when there's an upgrade on Android version they never push it to the boxes so you will be left out on the cool. You might want to spent and buy Nvidia Shield TV they push the updates all the time. It support 4K Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos and you throw anything to it and you disappoint you at all. This is not even 4K. I will rather by Nvidia than waste money on this boxes.

Maybe spend a bit more time focusing on programming ease. The remote included is really horrible. Using it to program the device was a nightmare. Took two to three times as long as it should have. Received the box today and the remote wouldn’t function at all with my TCL Google TV. Reconnected the box to an old LG and was finally able to get the remote paired with the device using a separate remote and dongle to do so. I ordered a new remote and dongle a few minutes ago. The box does not work well with any of the popular launcher programs. Very frustrating. I’ll live with the default launcher for now. Now that the box is programmed, hopefully the value of this purchase will become apparent. That has not been the case so far.
Well I can't say that I'm surprised as this box as shown in my video has lots of issues. I intend to revisit to see if there are and custom firmware for it.
