What a knowledgeable, humble man. That's what it's all about. Know your stuff, be able to help others and no clue what your tank holds. Just carry fuel so it doesn't matter 😉. Great interview. Great guy.
Really amazing build. Agree with other comments, what a humble guy. Kinda person you would just want to sit around with and talk all day. Can’t imagine all the knowledge you would pick up. Great video, one the best you have done. Keep up the great work. Thanks and safe travels.
This is what happens when you combine experience and self build. You end up with a purpose built rig that is ready for what YOU need it to do. Awesome build Tom! Great walk around! Keep these coming! Hopefully my rig can make it on here someday. #goals #4runnernamedthemule
Loved this! You should make more of these videos. It's like two guys just catching up, no faff. The guy is so humble and looks to be a treasure trove of information. And that Jeep is awesome! Loved how he was kinda embarrassed to show the cheap little step in the back. If it works, it works!! I have a question - Is it safe to have the air tank housed in the bumper in case of impact? I know those things are super strong, but it got me wondering.
@@OverlandBound Thanks! Have some of the self-adhesive tape from when my old F-14 squadron decommissioned. Did a search for Repair Tape after posting this and found a couple great vids by Project Farm that compare tape brands strengths. Now I'll add a small kit for the rig!
I'm a simple man. I see a Commando and I click the thumbs up. Sweet rig!
Love how he's got 'If you can read this roll me over' upside-down on his rear bumper.
Made me smile.
Definitely one of the coolest commandos around.
This guy seems like a great friend to have with you out on a trail!
Absolutely!
One heck of a rig. Absolutely love every inch of this Jeep. Amazing video on this guy
