No issues so far with them. Really like the added ease of GPS on the speedometer. We used this stores.partsdude4x4.net/dash-plate-3-hole-with-hardware/ to mount the gauges. They only fit a 3 3/8” gauge. But you might be able to squeeze a 4” with the right fab work.
Haha mine are staying with the motors they have. Unless something catastrophic happen. My next “from scratch” build will have an LS though. For all your merch needs: foregone-trails.printify.me/products/1
The 225 has way more character than the ls. The ls swap gives you more power and options for add ons. But i honestly wouldnt want to go over 80 in this jeep anyway, and the wheelbase is far too short to haul anything substantial. Imo the ls swap is way overkill. But youve got a beautiful rig.
@@casval-pj5tb thanks! The 225 is fine till it isn’t. I have the 231 even fire in my yellow one. Leaves a bit to be desired. I don’t drive over 80 in most of my vehicles anyway. This one has driven all over the country no issues, cruises great, and far better mpg than the 225.
Thanks for Sharing. Sweet Ride. Love the LS. I have owned Jeeps for over 40 years. It is just in the Blood.
You’re welcome, I agree the LS just seems to work so well and package fairly easily.
Oh man I need to get back to work on my Jeepster commando.
Yes you do!
Brother been pretty happy with the Speedhut Gauges? Issues? Problems? Inconsistency? 4" seems to be the max you can go unless you widen the hole?

Can you give me the details about changing out the bullnose front end to a conventional Jeep front end

I have a couple questions.....
When are you LS swapping yours?
When are you making merch available?

Did you have to do anything special with the steering or exhaust?
