I have a vaguely specific memory attached to this song. I’m about 5 years old, I’m in the backseat of a tan Cadillac Brougham, my father is picking me up from kindergarten. It’s a sunny day, not too warm, probably autumn, and this song is playing. I turn 30 in 2 weeks and every time I hear this song it takes me back to being in the backseat of that Cadillac. 💛
My parents always played this when I was a kid we used to dance in the living room to this song and my dad still jams this song when he’s playing his bass guitar ❤ It’s one of my parents favorites
Last week, my geometry teacher played this while we were working on the smart board. It was catchy, so I Shazamed it, and it led me here. It's been stuck in my head ever since.
Got married back in 2018 and of course I had to pick a song from the late 90's as one of my wedding songs. How could I not choose this one? The chorus fits perfectly.
I'm 23, but it takes me back to 8-10 years old on a trip home in my mom's 2005 toyota camry from walmart when they had the "always" sign and handed out little smiley face stickers as you walked in
How about being in your early 50's and it bringing you back to you golden 20's when you think that LIFE was going to great and there was no end to the happiness 😢
It’s 1am on 81 headed southbound in the back seat of an S10 blazer in 1997, I wake up to the smell of Levi Garrett and the lights of a gas station and this song on the radio.
And, it's 1997 again I'm an 80s guy and the late 90s really weren't a particularly good time for me but Jesus Christ I'll take it over 2020 and goddamn day of the week.
We went on a family road trip to Cleveland in 1997 but stayed in Niagara Falls the night before we left and on Q102 this was one of the first songs that played as we headed down the 90
This song came out the summer between 8th and 9th grade. My best friend at the time and I loved listening to the local Top 40 stations when we hung out. We initially thought this was Blues Traveler, but my friend paid attention to the radio DJ. I remember she owned this CD, but I don't remember if we liked anything else on this CD aside from this song. Good times.
I remember when I was confused on the bands, I thought back then this sounded close to Dave Matthews, as well as Del Amtri Roll To Me, and as you said Blues Travelers...I thought at the time they all were so close in sound
Good guys from up in Gainesville, please give us more in 2020 and like if you remember how this music kicks the living shit out of what we have on the airwaves nowadays!
Random memory I have from 1997: In preschool, my classmate Blair randomly starts eating orange playdough. The teacher immediately has him spit it out. I laugh myself to tears. My teacher is amused over how amused I am by this. At the end of the day, she tells my mom how much of a kick I got out of it. I hop in the car and she drives to Sonic and gets us cheese tots. I hear All For You by Sister Hazel for the first time on the radio as I munch on my tots. Life is good.
Can't wait for April!!! They care coming to my small town!!! :) Excited!!!! I never go to concerts.. There was once where I saw Nickleback and other bands.. At an event when 9/11 happened.. But, it was different. (Outside in a parking lot.) This time, I get to go to see a concert and with someone.. In the small town where I grew up!!! This is exciting to have them come to my small town. I think it is good for our town. :)
The quintessential song for the late 90s... which stands the test of time. I wanted to introduce this song so badly to my band back then, mostly because of the dual lead opportunities, but the band shrugged their shoulders on this one. I think this could have been our showcase song back then, but that's ultimately one of the reasons I left the band! #brainsdayoff #squelched
I still listen to it here in 2020! Haha when I was activating my phone in the sprint store in February, this song came on the in store music. It reminded me of how good of a song it was and now I listen to it a lot.
My Mom Loves This Song That She Always Hears It At Work And Makes A Video While She Thinks About Me Like I Said She Loves This Song That She Sings It To Me To Fall Asleep My Mom Is A 1,000,000,000,000/10 Best Mom
The 90s brought out a lot of good music that's largely underrated. People today don't think music from that era was any good all I can say is WRONG!!!!!
I used to hate country music and then my grandma showed me this song and I loved it, 3-4 years later I listen to tons of country music. Thank you Grandma!
My wife and I heard this on our first date. 30 years later. Still makes me cry with joy. She made me a better man

Same, wish I could remember more lol
Hadn't heard it in "uh long long tie-em"
Last week, my geometry teacher played this while we were working on the smart board. It was catchy, so I Shazamed it, and it led me here. It's been stuck in my head ever since.
According to my Aunt, this song was playing on the radio in the waiting room the moment I was born.
That's funny😂❤

Still sounds good after all these years.

Saw them play this song at The Grand Ol’ Opery in 21. Good times
For everyone in their early 30s if this doesn't bring you back to childhood summers at a big cookout on a beautiful summer weekend I'm so sorry

Still a great song. I was in my late 20's when this was popular.
I miss you, buddy. This song always reminds me of you.
Words without a sound coming from your eyes

I still think it's Blues Travelers
@@matthewmorris6964 I should clarify, the song came out at that time. I'm actually straight.

Nostalgia to the Enth Degree!!
How does this have under 1 million plays in 2023??
Just saw these guys last night at a little local 4th of July event in Harrisburg NC. Great show.
Good guys from up in Gainesville, please give us more in 2020 and like if you remember how this music kicks the living shit out of what we have on the airwaves nowadays!
This song brings back memories~
Sister Hazel competed against some really great music in 1997 but they exceeded expectations!
Miss the 90s
Publix was playing this gem and my heart was content!
And I was just driving down the in Ada, Oklahoma remembering listening to this in Atlanta. Funny how that happens.
Don't you love it when that happens?
One of the all time great 500 greatest songs of all time how is it at just 520,000 in 2022.
My top 5 from the 90s
Incrível 🥰essa música marcou minha infância, depois de anos consegui encontrar 🇧🇷✨
Sempre procurei, por sorte, ano passado escutei numa rádio. Música de infância também.

HOW WAS IT??
Simply Amazing!!!! We loved it and I would go again if they come back. We bought shirts and CDs. It was an Amazing night!!!!
This song is a lot weirder than it was in my memory, which was basically just the chorus. It's like if Dinosaur Jr went mainstream.

Greatest song Blues Traveler and Counting Crows wrote together under a different band name of Sister Hazel
