  • This is a review and look at the 3" 10mm Stock PAL 2.0 Lever belt by Pioneer Fitness. I have been using their belts as well as suggesting them to my friends since I got into powerlifting many years ago. I believe they provide the best value when it comes to powerlifting belts especially during their sale times of the year during black friday as well as July 4th. If you want one of the deepest discounts of the year on one I suggest you take a look at their website this upcoming Thursday (July 4th, 2024). If you are watching this video at a later date and need a belt ASAP I have a discount code with Pioneer right now that is ANDIE at checkout. I currently do not make any commission with my code if you would like to support me it would be very appreciated however not necessary!

This belt I am showing in the video is the 3" 10mm PAL 2.0 lever belt in black double suede. It is one of their signature stock belts. I like it a lot because of the lever and minimalist look of the belt. This belt cost me $130 shipped to my door. I got this belt mainly for bench pressing as I already use a 4" belt for squatting and deadlifting. For me on bench the 3" feels the best when bracing. If you don't want to carry around 2 belts I recommend just sticking with a 4" belt. I really like the micro adjustments (I think it is half an inch in adjustments) that you can do with the PAL lever belt, especially if you are lifting fasted or after you ate your body will be a little different when lifting. However if you are a smaller lifter I think a 3" belt would be fine for you as well. For reference I am 5'8" and compete 82-90kg. I have been going back and forth with the SBD 10mm belt as well and think the Pioneer holds its own very well.
Also there is no branding on this version which I like a lot. If you are getting into powerlifting or need a belt for your general lifts Pioneer is a great choice especially for the cost. The build quality is great and if you have any issues Pioneer will take care of you their customer service is great. One of the only downsides is that they are not IPF approved, however if you want to get around that loop hole I believe A7 is IPF approved at the time of making this video and their belts are made from Pioneer. I ramble a bit in this video, but if you have any questions please let me know in the comments below and I will get back to you if necessary.
Again I appreciate you taking time to watch my video!
