Was watching the video while hunting. literally seconds after the video ended a shiny showed up!
This is gonna be helpful. Since the sinistea in outbreaks can't be authentic due to the glitch preventing alternate forms (any authentics would be random non-related spawns) when I got my second misdreavous from an outbreak for evolving I figured I'd drain the rest of the sandwich trying for a shiny sinistea.
In all fairness I did get a phony form and my first ever double shiny from random spawns with a double banette (so far the only time that's happened is through PLA outbreaks like my triple alpha infernape moment. And yes I had a sandwich and shiny charm but given there is no outbreak I count it as random spawns, let me have my moment. Selfie time!) but it made me think how I could make the hunt more efficient and I didn't know they spawn in the day time, so already this will make that hunt 10 times easier once I go for it even disregarding the other tips you had.
Hopefully when I do go for it I get it pretty quickly, cause it took me like 2 hours just to get an authentic sinistea without the shiny XD
Also the double banette also made me realize curse on ghost shinies really isn't a problem, just bring potions and heal and they can't curse again cause you're already afflicted.

This was actually really helpful and works! The spawns really are optimized and the wall makes it easy to reset. It works for the other ghost type pokemom too or other pokemon that spawn in this area. I caught a shiny bannette using this method. Thank you for making a good, to the point video.

Are you able to reset a shiny to get authentic?
If it is during an outbreak; unfortunately no. BUT; under normal circumstances, I'm not even sure. I don't think the more subtle mechanics of Scarlett and Violet allow that.
We need catching tips too.

And thanks for the video, I managed to find a sleepy marked shiny Banette! It was worth the 2 herbas :)
@@SeekerStyle Hey man, sorry for the late reply, I've been so busy with life stuff. The usual, "cheap" sandwich method I use for hunting ghost types are the following: 1 tomato, 3 red onion, 1 green pepper, 1 hamburger, and 2 of any herba. I recommend not mixing bitter and sweet as for some reason it never gave me encounter power level 3. But, any combination other than that works. I hope you found the Authentic shiny!
Make sure you're not using encounter power sandwiches or outbreaks, those do NOT increase spawns for antiques, only phonies.
Have you found the authentic siniestea yet? I just want you to know that Level 3 Encounter Ghost gets rid of Authentic Sinistea. I just learned this today
