I feel you about the long races. The champion races in Forza always feel interminably long.

I haven't played any Crew games.. and I'm wondering if I'd enjoy this. I like all things Forza and liked TD on Oahu, but I really don't like NOS arcade racing and I don't do in game purchases.. so I'm very hesitant about this.
I just do not have a big problem with the BMW grilles. I think they're much more muscular and honestly it sort of throws back to classic American muscle with how the two humps for the grilles integrate into the hood with sunken indents. Certainly not high on the best BMW designs. And I would say the rest of BMWs designs are showing much worse signs of problems. I just dont think the big kidneys are even bad looking at all. And that people are kind of bandwagoning on hating it when it started off as hyperbole.
I think Lexus's grilles deserve this level of distain. They're actually comical without the stylistic purpose the BMWs gets away with.
The first two Crew games had maps the size of a truncated United States can this really compete when it's only the size on _one_ state? Sure a whole country sized map will have boring spots, but it just seems like a step back. Then again maybe they're trying to scale back expectations by shrinking the the map sizes considering it feels like it copied Forza Horizon's homework and changed a few answers.
It isn't overly too bad. One gripe I have and I understand it is an arcade game but the pointless need for Nitro. I don't think you need it

The sense of speed, or rather the lack of is something in all the games you do 30 mph and its crawling along 5 mph its ridiculous and this just looks like the crew 2 but the video quality is very poor it says its 1080p but looks like its 480p
Such is the problem with streaming or more specifically Bitrate. Depending on what RUclips caps out at some games just get shafted.
... Hmm.... I feel... I have played this game before. Oh yez', FORZA Hörizon.
I will give it, that a) The rear-view is Better than FHZ - here in Motorfest you can fx. see the centre-engine vibrate and somehow it feels like a more realistic rear-view. b) The HORNS are the correct ones to each veichle - mööch better than FHZ's generic hoola-horns. Who doesnt want to hear what a vintage Ferrari or Porsche horn sounds like? c) I was fortunate to have the glitch on my first play' of Motorfest where the announcer [all of them] are muted despite the sound settings. N.I.C.E. Finally a guaranteed way to avoid the senseless kindergarden chatter of npc's in 'carpg' games :- )
Ps. Obviously "a" is by far the most important thing in any car- & racing game.
Btw/ps2. I enjoy the Failrace-channel, but am slightly horrified by the "I WILL BE HONEST WITH YOU" remark by Alex every once in a while in almost all video. So... The rest is..... ? Ahh, bugger it. I knéw it ;- ))
This game is too much like Horizon to allow me to give it any more attention. Same crap, different developer.
Is the map just on the island of Hawaii?
