@TheLotw doesnt matter if u drive correctly mistakes can happen and having those physics in all racing games would suk. I would love to play beam but put those physics in nfs and the game just stops workin rt heck i hate the new nfs because its crash physics r garbage. Each racing series or individual game is meant for somthing different u got games like beam and wreckfest and i think there awsome and there should b more of them, however i dont wanna see those physics in nfs, forza, gt, or any other non super sim cause its not fun. As the example i gave with the new nfs criterion is ruining nfs because they wanna change it into burnout, nfs has always been one way (one framework) that made the games good but criterion has changed that and added burnout ideas into nfs namely the physics, if u touch a wall or car or anything with any amount of speed u crash and i dont mean come to a halt crash i mean flip 30 times (requiring a crash cam) taking away ur ability to play momentarily and changing ur focus all off of a tag of maybe 20-30mph on a wall. Now if those physics can mess up a game and turn a game from possibly decent to mediocre at best put beams crash physics in it the game would b unplayable because ud nvr b able to have a good race and the cops would just kill u. Each game is built in there respective worlds and mostly works perfectly adding one physics style to evry game would just ruin a genre thats alrdy not getting the love it needs.
Crash physics make it waaay more realistic. Traditionally, games haven't used damage physics because the automakers wouldn't let them use thier brand if the cars would get all messed up. Saying it's not fun just means you want to race unrealisticly. Having it be more of a "death race" (if you will) will bring more hard-core players into the genre (because at its core racing in games is actually very boring once you master it). Knowing the slightest screw up could mean the end of a race... or even a series... adds to that excitement and would instill people to go hard Knowing this. Just my two cents, but there's a reason I quit playing racing games online.

Idea: semi soapbox race, where you have an engine - but not a radiator. Set the world temperature to 100C and enable AI traffic. Now, race down to the bottom of the crater without overheating. The finish line is at the summer camp (so you need to climb that dirt road) :) not sure if its exciting enough for a video, but feels like a challenging idea :)
Or if you could have someone record an action-camera and send you the footage, you could superimpose it in a top corner of the screen as a letterbox thing, in sync with the race, could be pretty cool! (And interesting to see the different damage syncs at the same time lol)
If possible, you should try a Survive The Avalanche or Survive the Mudslide. Starting at the top of the hill and going down to avoid getting swept away.

A fun one to do would be everyone has to drive double decker cars like someone did in a previous race the flood video. Obviously running a double decker car makes you very top heavy and if you race too hard you're likely to tip over the edge and into the flood.... but if you don't race fast enough then the flood would obviously catch up
Can we get a "Survive the hunt" with the Spiffing Brit? I'd love to see if he can spoof the hunters with his exploiting skills. Surely he'd find away from the beta.
Question, how do you determine the water speed after you have the Power to Weight ratio? I would love to know!! Also, if your PC can handle it. there is an extreme graphics mod where you can set your LOD to 800, which helps immensely with pop in

the strongest car i've driven had ~0.169 ps/kg front wheel drive and it was all electronic traction control every time even in sunny welsh summer. having more without all wheel drive kinda seems pointless unless there's a very skilled driver
