I am thinking of buying it but because I want to use it with Gh5+Sigma 18-35 ( my idol is Yuri Palma...), I don't know if the weight would be acceptable
Been using it for a few months! Love the portability and joystick controls....it's dope you can have it up and running in less than 10 minutes. My only issue is weight - running an A7Sii w Metabones and Canon glass I sometimes get this fast vertical jiggle as it tries to steady itself. I'm gonna try adding some homemade counterweights and see if that helps.
Love the selfie mode. I will get it whenever i can. It will be my 3rd. I first had the feiyutech g5 v2 that never worked unfortunately so list alot of money there then i got a shiyun z1 wish i love and was cheaper but missed the selfie mode. What lens you use?
Great comparison. There is one more mode that locks the camera in the direction it was pointing when engaged. I can't remember off the top of my head what it's called. Also the last comparison shot between the crane and handheld is mislabeled. I have this same set up and have loved filming with it. Thanks for sharing.
Love the channel! Just an FYI: you don't have to invert the gimbal before powering it on if you want to use it that way. Just hold the motor with one hand while rotating the handle upside down.
Hi Sydney, Thank you very much for some of the awesome videos you have posted. They have been very helpful. Your Disneyland video became my critical moment when I decided to go for A6500 over A6000. I am glad I made that decision. I visit your channel from that point on regularly. Now, I am a proud owner of A6500 with 18-105mm and Sigma 30mm lens. Here again, I watched your review video of 30mm and went for it. Love it...totally...Thank you for that review. Quick question to you - Do you think Crane 2 (not V2) will be an overkill for A6500 with 18-105mm or Sigma 30mm lens?
Wow, that's so encouraging to hear! You've got a great setup! As far as the Crane 2, I just received the gimbal and I'll be doing a full comprehensive review on it VERY soon!
Just received my Zhiyun Crane v2 to use with Panasonic GH4 (soon GH5). Just wondering if I should set focus to manual/infiniti or auto focus (which I try to avoid).
It depends on the lens for good/bed AF. If you're gonna shoot manually, I'd set the focus to infinity and at f/8 to make sure everything is in focus. Hope this helps!
Thanks! If you're using a light camera like the Sony a6500, then it would be great for vlogging. However, it would feel heavy after a while...trust me, I've tried it! Haha! Hope this helps!
Hey Sidney! Great videos and I hope your move to TX is going well. Quick question: What bag are you using (celebrating) in this video and does it fit the gimbal? I ask because I'm trying to find a compact bag that can hold a gimbal, Mavic Pro, a camera body and a few lenses. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
Awesome! This was exactly what I was searching for. Short simple instructions about the modes. Thanks for that! 👍 (Going to use mine today for the first time, so this helped a lot.)
Aloha again Sidney, Will this Gimbal handle Sony A6500 with Sigma 16mm 1.4? This gimbal is on sale for $399.99 and thinking about picking it up. Thanks!
Hi, I tried but can't figure out how you choose the crane to turn clockwise or the other way around in selfie mode. Is it how quick you press? I have an hdmi cable connected to my field monitor, it would be a mess if the crane did a 360!!! Thank you! ciao!
Did anyone notice that when he presented both videos at 2:44 that they were wrong. the Crane footage was of the handheld footage, and the video of the handheld footage was of the smooth Crane footage? Call me crazy but that what I saw!
Hi, can you help me , when i tilt with my cam downwards to the lens down kind of position, the motor starts humming and i can feel a mild but sure buzz vibration going on. It happens only when i use the joystick n tilt the camera nose down. The vibration picks up as the nose tilts more and more. Ant then if i leave the lens in that nose down position the vibration hum is non stop, until i raise the cam back to level position. The hum occurs in no other position including lens tilted full upwards to ceiling. Balancing is done correctly on all axis and in dead mode the came is able to stand still in virtually any pose (indicating perfect balancing). I also tried setting the motor strength to middle and low using the Zhiyun Assistant app and same results in any setting.
Anyone else using the Zhiyun Crane? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Sidney Diongzon i love it.
Thanks for the comment!

Totally agree! It'd be interesting to see you make a video about those counterweights!
2:46 you messed up with the videos, the left one should be on the right :)
Yeah, realized that the moment I uploaded. Oh well, lol
😂😂😂
Hilarious ending with the videos reversed. I liked the joke.
Wow sidney your really steady! The crane was on steroids!
Thank you!
This is perfect! I'm planning on purchasing a crane next month so I was excited to see some footage from it! Fantastic quick review!
Thanks! I'll be doing a FULL review on it next Wednesday, so look out for that!
title of the music, anyone please !?
I love your intros!
Haha, thanks so much!
Just purchased mine today and this video is great explaining all of the modes! Thank you!
+Kamile Vianca So glad this video was helpful!!
Exactly what i needed. I was confused about how to activate the modes and it messed up some shots. Now I know what to do!

For this gimbal and camera, I like using the Sony 10-18mm!
Great comparison. There is one more mode that locks the camera in the direction it was pointing when engaged. I can't remember off the top of my head what it's called. Thanks! And oops...oh well, it's up now!
Love the channel! Just an FYI: you don't have to invert the gimbal before powering it on if you want to use it that way. Just hold the motor with one hand while rotating the handle upside down.
+Grant Reynolds Thanks so much! And thanks for the tip!
Sidney Diongzon Yeah buddy. I may hit you up about some a6500 stuff soon if you’re amenable to it. Just switched from Canon world. Different animal.
Hit me up anytime man! I'm all about the DM!
Can use for mobile? Please tell me

Can't rhank you enough for this quick video not sure my ADHD would have sat through 25 minutes like everyone else lol

Thanks. Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8
Great lens!
Love it. Been wanting to get one of these guys for a while... If you where to vlog with it, do you think it would be too heavy?
Thanks! If you're using a light camera like the Sony a6500, then it would be great for vlogging. However, it would feel heavy after a while...trust me, I've tried it! Haha! Hope this helps!

Check out the ThinkTank Airport Essentials! It’s one of my favs!
Sidney Diongzon Thanks for the tip! Do you have any experience trying to board with it as a personal item?
Got my Crane a couple days ago and now every time I use it the music in this video plays in my head!
+Tyrone Thomas Hahaha! That's so awesome!!! Have fun with the Crane!!
title of the music please ??

Purchased one myself, going to try it out with the A6500 and 18-105. Have you used this combo yet?
+Martin Thrasher I have this exact combo, and it's perfect!
Aloha again Sidney, Will this Gimbal handle Sony A6500 with Sigma 16mm 1.4? This gimbal is on sale for $399.99 and thinking about picking it up. Thanks!
Yes, absolutely!

Hmmm, not sure how I can answer. The crane just does it (at least mine does).
Hello
Did you use the optical stabilzation of the a6500?
+BobChannel Yeah, I always have that on by default.
I don't know if that was intentional , but you switched the footage at 2.45. ;)
+TheMicroGhost Yeah, I messed up on that one, lol.
title of the music, anyone please !?
Don't want to sound all mussy here, but you are my go to guy for for this kind of info. Thanks Sidney.
So awesome! Thanks so much for watching!
title of the music, anyone please !?
My blue light stays blinking but seems to be working fine do you know what that means??
This was a very useful review. Thank you for that.
your text is backwards for the handheld vs gimbal comparison....handheld looks damn good :p
+Gear Jammer Media Yeah, oops. Oh well LOL

Thanks for Luts, can tell me the music's name?
Call on Me by Kick Lee
Can it works POV mode after upgrade firmware. .
I don't think so.
how do you walk with the gimbal to reduce up and down movement?
You gotta master the ninja walk!
Is your camera stabilization was on
I'm pretty sure it was.
Sidney Diongzon
Thanks
I love your videos man 😀
Thank you!!!
Does you uses camera stabilization on!!
Always
Seems like it would be worth to spending money on this gimbal!!
+NIKE JOSH I agree! Just for the user friendly experience is worth it alone!
Can you do follow mode with it inverted?
Yes of course!
Bro I said this earlier, I'm saying it again. Your channel will blow up. Just Keep Going and Be Ready For It!
+Alex Xander Haha, thanks so much man! I really appreciate it!
На 2:44 в руках лучше стабилизировал, чем на 3х-осевом электронном стабилизаторе)))
Great vid!!
Thanks!
Awesome tips 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Glad this was helpful!
