- We had the pleasure of hanging out with guitarist and composer Linda Taylor from the hit television show Whose Line is it Anyway. Much like the panel of improvisors on the show who improvise characters and scenes on the spot, Linda is responsible for conjuring up a huge array of songs and musical numbers at a moments notice. In this video, Linda lets her creativity flow, laying down a wide variety of musical examples using Mobius.

All guitar playing in the video was recorded through a single Royer R-121 ribbon microphone in front of Linda’s own Fender '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb.
Mobius provides twelve studio-class, fully tweakable modulation machines: Chorus, Flanger, Rotary, Vibe, Phaser, Filter, Formant, Vintage Trem, Pattern Trem, Autoswell, Destroyer, and Quadrature. Видеоклипы
My God. I think Linda Taylor can make an entire career of musical sounds with this one pedal.
Love this demo!
Those are some tasty chorused tones, especially with those nice chords.
This demo really made me want to get one!
This pedal is love in a box! That along with the BigSky and TimeLine. These are the three gems that any studio absolutely needs.
Yep. I need this one to make up the trio. Other-wordly pedals.
excellent video, I love my Strymon Mobius
Linda, you're the bomb!
Big fan of her musical abilities!
So are we :D
Best video of this pedal
I love your pedals🤩
I’m saving up now
Good Job
Linda's playing on that live Taste of Honey Boogie Oogie video is amazing - fast, fluid and melodic (and fusiony!). Superb player.
Ps, why isn't Linda Taylor as well known or as feted as much Jennifer Batten or Orianthi? Linda's the kind of guitarist I wish I was. Time there was an all female supergroup recording and touring the world.
I will buy it I love this pedal, one of the best modulation pedals
Thank you :)
strymon you are welcome , ever and ever at the top
Wonderful guitar.Linda Taylor.remember show Janice Marie Johnson Boggie oggie.
Laser tight funk grooves!!
Great pedal,
It replaced a lot of modulation pedals. It freed up space on my board, which I put on 5 years ago, and haven’t taken off since!!!!
Thank you!!
I like your picking technique. Pick+fingers.
Damn I really wanted to hear the vibe setting on this
We will keep that in mind for next demo :)
strymon Thank you! This video was absolutely lovely and Linda killed it!
If that’s a Warmoth guitar, I feel vindicated. Had mine made 12 years ago with Anderson pickups installed. They slay.
HI Justin, It's actually a Renson guitar, made by Norik Renson. But so glad to hear you are loving your Warmoth! Most important thing is that it feels good for you. :D
Hey.. were you on “the office”??
Belle guitariste 😉
The lady knows her chords!
I like your video!
Should this pedal go before a delay or after?
Most players traditionally place their modulation effects before a delay, but you can get interesting results if placed after.
@@strymon so it would be the last one on my pedal chain!!
What wah pedal its used there ? That with VB...
Never heard of Linda before but she's good in her chords and picking.
Sorry guys, I only bought Strymon Power Line product, the best in supplying high current power to my pedals.
Thanks for supporting our power supplies. Glad we got to introduce you to Linda Taylor :)
I liked that part when she said "it's morbin time" and she morbed that pedal 100/10
#mobiussweep
sounds a bit like what keziah jones is using
How many people got here because of Whose Line?
Thanks, but I’ll stick to my Miku Stomp
Strymon sounds good for modulation but classic analog pedals sound warmer and not so clinical. With at that said if you don't want so many modulation pedals on your board, this is a good option. But I would much rather have a Boss Waza Chorus and MXR phaser.
Ee I EeI Oh
And the guitar is a...
Hi, It is a Renson guitar, made by Norik Renson. Linda shared with us "...that’s the first guitar he made for me, I’m guessing it’s about 30 years old. Original Seymour Duncan Hot Stacks in the neck and middle, Jeff Beck in the bridge."
strymon Man, it is so beauty.
Love the colour of the headstock, or stain I guess
