Athens 2022

Stop 13 on our 43-day backpacking trip through Europe. Athens was a quick stop but we did lots. We walked through the markets to various ancient Greek sites. We went to the Acropolis and saw Athena's temple. I saw Plato's Cave. We did a free walking tour where we saw the royal castles, Zeus' temple, and the Olympic Stadium. Romy and I also went to the Olympic stadium and saw the museum. I would have liked to go to Poseidon's temple but it is quite the journey. Visiting Santorini and Athens made me want to rent a car and travel all around Greece.
