This is Corfu! A Greek island. The town is ancient and was set up as a look out to watch for pirates raiding the lower villages. They would light a fire to warn them which is where the name originates from!

Corfu, It's a Greek island close to Albania. I had never heard of it but there was a cheap flight from Barcelona and I have fallen in love with the place and the people!

​@@ApollosTrail It depends. Do you like scrambling? It's nothing but rocks. Mount Washington is in New Hampshire. It has earned a few nicknames. The rock pile. The biggest little mountain in the world. Home of the world's worst weather. Thru hikers on the Appalachian Trail will make their way over mount Washington. It's literally one of the high points on their way at 6288'. I first thought you were building a new cairn. They are all over mount Washington and the rest of the Presidential range to guide hikers through the fog. You will climb above treeline at about 4000' or so and if it's a clear day the view is spectacular. Would I recommend it? Most definitely! I would not recommend it in winter though for any but the most experienced mountaineers. Winter conditions in the Presidentials rival some of the biggest mountains in the world.

I plan on doing a road trip/live out of a vehicle for a bit in the next couple years so I will have to make my way down!
