To be fair to the CB650R, the reason it sticks to 95 horsepower is because that's the maximum power a bike can have and still be restricted to A2.
Full exhaust and ECU flash it still makes 84 to the wheel.
Not really about the R6 but I still have nightmares of SR400s and VanVans suddenly disappearing from the catalogues... Euro5 was a tragedy...
On an even more unrelated note, great channel, good to see a man appreciating motorbikes and sitting under birch trees, two of the best things in the world.

Naked bikes and Netflix killed super sports bikes in general, the buyers simply disappeared. The R6 was the massively overpowered "entry level" super sports bike for the young rider. Best looking bike ever in my opinion. But less young people learn to ride, buy a bike, and those who do go for naked bikes. The population grew in body height, also the Japanese, and favors the upright sitting position; no wrist pain, back pain, and cramped leg angle pain. With more torque.

I don't know what Kawasaki is doing... First the ZX4RR and now the ZX6 ... I'm not complaining, I just didn't expect it either
They fr made the best looking sportbike then stopped making them (I know the r9 will supposedly look similar or the same, but not everyone wants a crotch rocket)
I still think the 2008 R6 is one of the best designed bikes ever!
a 4 cylinder is not inheritantly balanced!
It's better than 2 or 3 in balance ....
