A tip for when doing any sort of masking work:
After placing your tape, apply your base color first. (In your case, yellow or the white) then apply your color of choice (black, yellow) this way, if any paint should bleed under your tape edges, it's your base color. Doing this seals the edges of your tape and you should get a perfect demasking every time

Funny you say that I quickly learnt on the red and white and did the opposite on the yellow. Top tip though. I should of thought more about it before. Thank you

Paint the color you are taping over so the bleed thru is same as what you are painting over then when you apply the second color over stripes only the strip color will appear without bleed thru. Works well when painting a wall IRL.

I love the stripes and chips.
Almost pulled the trigger on these a few times for Titanicus since GW doesn’t allow, or make, a 48” game mat. Looks like they’re making actual tiles for Epic so I want to do stripes like yours.

Thank you for the kind words. An airbrush really speeds things up especially if you have bought multiple packs. The tiles are really quite detailed, I would definitely recommend

@@HouseOfChaosUK Just bought my first cheap airbrush, haven’t had time to mess with it during the semester. You made it look easy so I’ll give it a shot. 😄

@JayM404 cleaning it is the worse bit but you honestly wouldn't regret it. I would love to see your work with it sometime

Im getting ready to paint mine. Had to glue them to mdf though, as my tiles arrived extremely warped in the middle, and terrain wouldn't properly lock into place

I had the same issue with MDF and thats why I decided to spend out a bit more for these but I know what you mean, I've left mine in the boot of my car too long. I would love to see yours painted up sometime
