My God, I am floored by your positive attitude and grace. You are truly an evolved human being. May God bless you and comfort you. You are an earth angel.
Great job with the chair yoga; just do what you can every day 😊. Clinical trials sound like a good option (that’s my specialty). Your team will know what’s best for you. Loved to see your dog ‘helping’ with the yoga - so cute 🤗😘.
Hi Maria! We’ll see where you come out after meeting with your team. I can understand why you weren’t entirely happy with the CAT scan results. You’re definitely going in the right direction, though. You are getting better. God has this. Prayers, hugs, and love, Mary
I had my CT scan this morning. I chose mochachino. Well it doesn't taste like mocha at all but that's the one I think tastes the best. Still catching up here with your vlogs!! From your fellow ovarian cancer friend 🤗 Its not all bad news so thats good. Remember the nuggets that help us through!
Thanks for the updates, I can't imagine how hard doing all of this must be, the constant visits to hospital, constant tests being done, dealing with insurance, dealing with the tiredness the chemo brings, the psychological burden of it all... You are wonderful, incredibly strong and your family is incredibly strong too, thanks for the video
I am sad to hear it’s not all god news. Hope this will change by next time when they do an imaging. Lots of good has been said before about trials also so hope there is one if you and your team decide to go that path. Wish you all strength!
Oh I so wished the gem chemo had kicked its ass already - but maybe it still might - or clinical trial sounds interesting? Sending love and light from a fellow albeit luckier in stage OC person. Xxx
The clinical trials I looked up, sound interesting, but I just really don’t know whether or not I am a candidate. Hopefully we can find the one that works best for me, and soon.
Sorry to hear the scan results were not what we had hoped. Stay positive and keep taking steps forward…your doctors seem very supportive to keep looking for the right treatment! Sending love and hugs your way! 🤗
You have such a positive attitude, that’s so important. I know you have some tough decisions to make, so weigh them carefully and do what will give you the most benefit. Sending positive thoughts and prayers.
Yoga is hard!! I tried it a couple of times because I thought it would be a breeze. Wow! It is intense. You look great Maria!! 😍💖I am sorry about your results. It sounds like a mixed bag. Please keep pushing forward lovely. We are with you ❤️
Love your optimism!!! Your team of doctors are going to come up with something to knock this cancer out!!! Thanks for the updates!!! Love your channel!!!!!!🎄✨🙏🎄✨🙏🎄✨🙏🎄
I am so proud of you staying so positive. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. I hate seeing anyone go though this. My Grandmother passed away from stage 4 ovarian cancer and my aunt from stage 3. I have an aunt right now going though stage 3 colon cancer.
Maria, I am so sorry to hear the results of CAT Scan but there were some positives also. I cannot begin to imagine this journey you are on. I keep you in my prayers and know that you will continue to keep your positive attitude! Hope you have good pain management and that next week will bring some good news! Thank you for keeping us updated. You have a great team looking out for you.
I need to take one step at a time and make sure I understand all options available. It’s definitely going to be a process, but one that I hope is ultimately successful.
Praying that you will find the right combination of drugs to control and and shrink the tumors. Clinical trials is certainly a potential option and I hope they can present an option to you to consider. Your positivity and inner strength are tremendous gifts. I love the sweetness of your dog. I wish you only the best outcome as you move through this journey.
Hi lovely lady no matter what you still look good keep being positive and keep doing what ever your doing stay strong people are behind you that includes me you will win let's kick cancers butt sending love and hugs hugs hugs from ur friend Karen in the UK 🇬🇧🌹💗🌹💗🌹💗💋
I'm sorry your CT didn't come out as well as we were all hoping for, however it did show some positives so obviously one of the treatments is helping. Sounds like you have a wonderful team of Drs, praying you'll get into a great clinical trial & kick this disease in the butt!!! ❤️🙏❤️
I’m very pleased with my team of doctors. Of course I’m not getting the results that I had hoped, but I also know that this was not going to be an easy road given everything that was going on with me at the time of diagnosis.
Hi Maria, thank you so much for the update, the scan results weren’t what we were hoping for but like you say there were a few good signs, maybe they just need to find the right chemo for you, I’m pleased you have the option of a different chemo and possibly a clinical trial. I loved watching you doing chair yoga but especially watching your dog nudge you with his/her nose, (sorry I’ve forgotten his/her name). I had to chuckle when you were struggling with the lid of the contrast too and you got the top off but it still wasn’t open, typical!! Fancy making them that hard to get in to when they know people with cancer who are weak and ill have to open them !!! Anyhow I’m sending you my love from the UK Maria xxx 🇬🇧❤❤
I'm sorry the CT scans didn't give all good results. I pray your team will choose the right course of treatment to start you on a path back to good health. Keep the faith and positive attitude. Sending love and prayer for you.
Hi Maria, Watching you at 5:23 pm , Sat., Dec 10 As other viewers commented you are a real trooper. Every one is different but I took doxil back in 2014 and I don’t remember any more terrible side effects than the other drugs. Following you and sending hugs and love

What kept me going was the faith in my team. Yours sounds great and thorough with their explanations and options. Love your dog. Gosh, I remember the berry flavor. Sometimes they chill it which helps but I didn't think I could keep it down, also could not finish it. Thank you for the update...I think you are a gem of a person and wish with all my heart that you heal. Hugs from NY.
My daughter has ALL ( acute lymphoblastic leukemia ) she has seven chemo drugs to take during the intensive phases of treatment including Doxorubicin, Doxil is a variant of it and her side effects haven't been too bad with it. I know it is nicknamed the red devil due to it being bright red and I was anticipating it would be absolutely awful for her but she has struggled more with some of the other ones she has. I would say if you do take it then make sure you drink as much as possible in the days after as it helps it excrete from the body. The worst side effect she has had with it has been mucositis which we have various mouthwashes to alleviate. I wish you all the very best with your treatments and I am really sorry you are facing this awful disease but you are facing it head on and with grace for which I applaud you.
I made a decision that I have to live my best life rather than focus on all the bad news I keep getting. It certainly has helped me navigate my options.
@@MyCancerJourneyMaria you are a hero to all of us , and I think twice before I complain about something minor .. thank-you for your inspiration .. I send thoughts and prayers to you …. ❤️

Another really great video, love your yoga session. I’ve practiced yoga for years, it’s very beneficial for core strength and mental well-being. It will make you stronger when you face surgery and help you recover more quickly.
Maria, I can only hope and pray that God makes a path for you to pursue the clinical trials you and your medical team seek. I will continue praying for your recovery, and look forward to updates as you feel comfortable sharing them. God Bless you and your fighting spirit!! ❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I have never been able to open those twisty things and I’m fairly healthy. I always use a knife or scissors to pry it open. You got this gal. You are strong.
When I used to stretch myofascial release you hold for 90 seconds to get a deeper relief. I love ❤️ how your dog is so interested while your exercising. My cat 🐈⬛ used to love when I stretched.
That’s awesome that your cat liked it too! I was following the instructions, so the position wasn’t held for a while. What it did show me is that I definitely lost a heck of a lot of flexibility and hopefully I can start gaining some of it back.
Thank you so much for keeping us posted on your journey. I've got so many sick loved ones right now. Each going through difficult situations. My prayers go out to all!! Love and hugs~

Dear Maria, I prayed for you last night over the sabbath candles. I hope you don’t mind if you’re not Jewish. It can’t hurt. I admire you so much and wish I had 1 ounce of your courage and grace. Sending you loving healing vibes From hawaii and from my heart

Hello beautiful Maria ❤ you would think as advanced as these people are with cancer that they could hire someone that could make that drink bearable. I had to drink half as much as you for my PET SCAN and I just could not drink but half of it. They put radiation in my arm but I just could not drink that stuff. I wish I had half your strength, I still haven’t started my Chemo/Radiation for my Stage 3C Uterine recurrence. I’m just to scared, I feel so great right now, no pain yet but I know I’m delaying and risking my life. I live alone with no one to check on me so as you can see this is scary. Your my hero and you will win this battle I know it❤🙏🏼🙏🏼
I just have a feeling that you're doing everything right. You did great with the Yoga and opening that bottle. Your Videos are great! Have a great Christmas 🎄🎄🎄
I subscribed. I’m glad that there’s people out there like you, that will tell people what they’re going through what type of cancer they have how many months it took to metastasize from one Oregon to another because that’s what they’re not telling us on the Internet so I’m here to support you and hope Jesus comes before any of us dies so I’ll stay with you until I die or you die. I hope you’re not dead OK bye.
I know the scan wasn't what you, or anyone else who is supporting you through this journey, wanted. Not the best news ever but you do seem to have options. With all of the trials out there, I'm sure you'll be a good fit for one of them. About the exercising. I was very sick and undiagnosed for several years. My mobility was limited and I kept getting weaker and weaker. I couldn't even hold myself up because my back was so weak from the AI diseases and lack of movement. Who wants to move when every step is a marathon and filled with high amounts of pain? I only was able to start a walking program when I started on a cancer drug that is suppressing my immune system which is greatly reducing the inflammation in my body. I'm doing two miles 3-4 times a week now at a really good pace that gets my heart rate up. I beat myself up a lot for not moving more while I was at my worst but now I know I was doing what my body was able to do. Nothing more but more importantly, NOTHING LESS. So be kind to and patient with yourself. If you can only do a few minutes of chair exercises that's something. Celebrate it. You've got this, warrior.❤🤗
ooooh choose mocha contrast if possible-- sometimes you have to ask. and use a straw 😉i'd like to have a chat with whomever designed those inner seals-- our milk has those too. ugh! you've inspired me to attempt chair yoga😃👍🏼
Let me know what you think about chair yoga! I never thought I would be one of those people to do it because I was so active, but this disease has really changed things. I never heard of mocha contrast, but I’m definitely going to ask about it!
Hi Maria, thanks for the update including the details you give us. My sister (with Stage 3 high-grade serous ovarian cancer) begins chemotherapy on the 19th of this month. Since I'm not asking my sister many questions, the facts I receive from you, help me understand more of what she is going through. Nancy
I’m so happy it is helpful to you Nancy. Best of luck with your sister’s treatment and hopefully her side effects can be easily managed. One thing I learned is to make sure that I say something because my providers are more than willing to work with me to counteract the negative impact of the therapy.
Regarding the contrast, it'd be hard for me to drink that much of anything in such a short period, even something amazing, much less something icky. They gotta come up with a better way!
I’ll definitely post one next week once I get more information. It is definitely a process and I want to make sure that I am choosing the best course for me.
I’m at a top cancer hospital. If I were to get a second opinion, I would be traveling out of state. The way I see it, I will go to whatever place has the best clinical trial for me and chances of success.
Apparently small study suggests a specific type of intermittent fasting is safe and possible for people diagnosed with cancer and may boost the effectiveness of cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and hormonal therapy. I don’t say it is all I try to say here is that everyone is entitled to try whatever they believe it might works. I said it last time I comment on one of other video..since Aug I do nothing every night but search if there is anything to help my sis law to survive or have her life prolonged with her stage 4. You hope & pray & search for miracles everyday because of your loved one is suffering
@@ToRi-ik4gd You have to take into account that only Big Pharma has the money to do the big medical research. So it is more likely that small studies tell the truth.
i can tell that you are truly a wonderful woman, your beauty shines thru the screen..if there is anything we could do for you, let us know..how about a P.o. box where we could send you cards? if not, i understand, we are still here pulling for you..
OMG! Just watching you opening that bottle, made my stomach flip over. Sounds like good/bad news. I wish it was better, but not all bad. Consider a clinical Trial. Try everything, I have seen wonderful results in some trials. Not all respond, but SOME DO🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hi, I love your upbeat attitude and positive outlooks. It is always best for your overall health. Is surgery out of the question or are your doctors waiting for your tumors to shrink before operating? I would think if this current chemo is not working, your doctors would try something else. Anyway you look happy and hopefully not in too much pain. Hopefully your next CT scan will show marked improvement. Take care always. Love and prayers from Edmonton, AB Canada.

ooooh choose mocha contrast if possible-- sometimes you have to ask. and use a straw 😉i'd like to have a chat with whomever designed those inner seals-- our milk has those too. ugh!
you've inspired me to attempt chair yoga😃👍🏼
Ha! You have an angel on your shoulder in this video.
Regarding the contrast, it'd be hard for me to drink that much of anything in such a short period, even something amazing, much less something icky. They gotta come up with a better way!
Love and prayers
God bless you in heaven.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Praying ✝️🙏🏽please let us know an update ❤️
I’ll definitely post one next week once I get more information. It is definitely a process and I want to make sure that I am choosing the best course for me.
God bless you ma am 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏...
Aww your dog..
Sending you strength and light. Peace. Liz ❤
You have a beautiful dog …….What Breed?????
Have you considered second opinion at the large research hospital in the city where you are being treated?
I’m at a top cancer hospital. If I were to get a second opinion, I would be traveling out of state. The way I see it, I will go to whatever place has the best clinical trial for me and chances of success.
How are you feeling now I hope you are doing well ❤️
LIKE 👍👍 👍👍👍 💯💯 💖💖💖 💖💖💖

may i ask what were all of your symptoms that took you to your diagnosis?
💛💛💛🙏🙏🙏
Have you considered a science-based treatment? I mean a keto diet and intermittent fasting.
Noone got healed or prolonged life with that.
♥️🙏
i can tell that you are truly a wonderful woman, your beauty shines thru the screen..if there is anything we could do for you, let us know..how about a P.o. box where we could send you cards? if not, i understand, we are still here pulling for you..
I had to hold my nose and drink.
I’ve definitely had some that were like that for me, but I could manage this one.
OMG! Just watching you opening that bottle, made my stomach flip over. Sounds like good/bad news. I wish it was better, but not all bad. Consider a clinical Trial. Try everything, I have seen wonderful results in some trials. Not all respond, but SOME DO🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I love your comment!!! Couldn’t have said it better!!!! Amen!!!
And I definitely want to be in the trial works for me!
At this time, surgery is not an option. I need to get rid of the ascites and the cancer needs to be reduced.
