Maria....You are doing GREAT! Best attitude ever! I have had many blood transfusions over my almost 10 years of treatment. I always LOVE the feeling of receiving blood. Knowing that an angel of a person donated their time and their blood to help all of us....best feeling ever! Keep up the good work! You GOT this! Hugs from Alaska.....Mary
I definitely have an appreciation for those who make it possible to receive treatment. It was fascinating to learn how they separate various parts of the blood product so recipients get what they need.
The first thing I do when I go to youtube is look for your videos, wondering how you're doing. I also had to have a transfusion once and it worked fine to bring my number up. Your trip looked so relaxing. Now that's a good medicine for the spirit and the body! Glad to see that the Gemzar worked! That's the best news of all. Still including you in my Friday night prayer and will never stop...I know I don't know you but you are just the nicest person and I want you to heal and resume your life as it was! Hugs from the big Apple xoxo
Thank you so much my NY friend! I can only have faith that these treatments will provide me with everything I need to beat this thing. It certainly gave me an appreciation for all of the blood donors who made the treatment possible!
The ocean always brings me peace. So glad you had a better week. It’s crazy that it’s warmer there than here in the SF Bay Area. Sending love and light your way
Wow! That Harley could not be more adorable! Dogs are my Spirit Animal! Maine looked spectacular, especially not filled to the brim with tourists. Glad you got away. Hope your energy comes back with gusto. 🧡💛💚
With everything you mentioned-paracentesis, potassium level, Hgb level requiring transfusion, plus treatment-I can’t believe you weren’t admitted to the hospital. Remarkable. So happy for you that you are being managed as much as is possible at home. Blessings! I enjoy your articulate, well reasoned and informative videos!
I’m very happy that I wasn’t in the hospital. Being at home is so much better for me. The last time I was in the hospital, I didn’t move around much. I’m still pretty sedentary, however, I certainly move around significantly more at home and I think my body needs that.
I have been on your site every since it popped up I am from Massachusetts but have been living in Texas Love you you spoke about the beach in Maine I miss it I pray for you You have a beautiful outlook Your new England friend You got this
Marker certainly is heading in the right direction. Bet you feel so much stronger with that unit of RBCs. Sending positive thoughts you way. Keep the faith!
Great that your CA 125 is down Maria~ Yay!! ~ Hope that the blood transfusion will make you feel better too. The ocean view from your window looked gorgeous. I have fallen in love with Harley! Sending love and hugs from Canada.

Hi Maria, it was wonderful seeing you at the beach. I live in Hawaii and the ocean is so calming and healing. I’m praying that the treatments Will restore your Marker numbers and potassium levels. Sending healing vibes. Aloha
Thank you so much for your support! I can’t wait to visit Hawaii. The pictures of the ocean, beaches and area always seems too good to be true. Living there must be wonderful.
Yay! I'm so glad your tumor markers are down! By the way, how is your pain? I didn't catch where you said in Maine you visited, but it looks beautiful. I remember the coastline being mostly rocky. Looks like Harley had a lot of fun too. :) Take care and stay positive. I'm sending up a prayer for you.
We visited Ogunquit Maine. Very nice beach - not rocky at all! Pain relief continues to be a work in progress but the management is getting better. Thank you for asking!
Hi Maria..the view from your room was gorgeous I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself, your dog is so sweet, I hope the the blood transfusion peps you up and your not as sleepy, I'm sending you prayers, love and a big hug.....Mary from 🇨🇦 💜💜🦋
I'm so glad the trip was therapeutic for your spirit. The view was EPIC. Makes me miss home in S. California. Even through all your procedures, you still had it in you to smile and laugh. Hang in there, warrior goddess. You've got this.
Your dog is so cute! Glad your cancer marker is heading in the right direction, and that you enjoyed your getaway. Hope you will quickly feel some positive effects from the blood transfusion. Sending love and prayer.
Hi Maria, thank you for the update, I was wandering how you were getting on. Oh my gosh your get away was definitely what the Dr ordered, the view and the ocean looked amazing and I adore Harley, I laughed when he was avoiding the waves 🤣😂. I’m so happy your tumour marker is going down and so is your fluid (I won’t attempt to type the name 😂🤣) it’s fantastic news 👍👍. I’m pleased you’re listening to your body and napping when you need to, your body is really going through it at the moment. Keep being positive and smiling , as always sending love from the uk 🇬🇧 xxx
Maria, I’m so glad your trip was so lovely. How healing the ocean is. I hope this transfusion really gives your system the get-up-and-go it needs. And yayyyyy on those tumor marker drops! That’s cause for celebration. What a view from your room! Thank you for sharing with us. I can’t get away these days as I’m heavily occupied rescuing kitties and fostering. So I really enjoyed your vacation. I’m glad your paracentèsis fluid was also less this time! Stay strong, beautiful lady. You are truly a joy. Love hearing from you. Cheering you on from Pittsburgh PA!
Maria, your smile and positivity are just infectious. I have been watching for your update every single day. I am just thrilled to hear that you markers came down. I'll be praying that the blood transfusion brings much needed increase in your energy levels to allow you to do some of the things in life you truly enjoy. Your such a special person and I'm so honored to know you virtually and will continue praying for you! God is good and he has big plans for you. My husband almost passed last October from Covid and I always ended my posts with this. I want to do it for you too. We won our battle and so will you! #staystrong #wenevergiveup #godsgotthis
I had to get a blood transfusion also while on chemo. I felt 10 times better as far as fatigue. Hope that helped you. Good news on the CA-125!! That test always makes me a little anxious.
@@MyCancerJourneyMaria she is lovely, yeah, here in England the breeds crossed with poodles are very popular, my daughter is a dog groomer and does many of them :) I just hadn’t seen that one before :) hope you are feeling well this morning, or evening whichever it may be :) Serena
I’m paying for those numbers to keep moving in the right direction. The ocean looked so relaxing and enjoyable. May I ask if you received the covid vaccine? And have you considered medicinal marijuana?
Thank you so much! I will be working with palliative care, so I feel like I still have options to manage my symptoms. I definitely don’t want to do or take anything that would work against treatments I am already receiving. MA had both medical and recreational cannabis dispensaries.
I don’t feel as though I will get addicted and I think cancer patients have a reduced risk. While I need them to control my pain, I will be more than happy to be without them. Palliative care can also help with other treatments too.
Your smile lights up the screen. Store up those magical beach memories and pull them out as you recover. You are a rockstar!
Poor thing, she looked so happy at the beach 💔😭 I'm so sorry, R.I.P sweet lady 😢
CA 125 down .... excellent. Keep it going.

Yay , cancer markers down :) your trip away looked fabulous :) what breed of dog is Harli ?
She’s an English goldendoodle. She barely sheds because she has hair- not fur. Super soft!

Low potassium can cause heart failure.
Wow, I can understand why that needs to be addressed!
And are you still in pain or you got that under control
Still working on it but it is getting better with medication management. I’m very jealous of those who have cancer and are pain-free!
