I particularly enjoyed hearing your reactions to the whole album. Its almost hard to find the words for such an amazing talent. And one cannot ignore the well crafted song writing throughout the album and especially on Red Sea. The epic, long songs have been lost to the bygone era. Its something you don't hear anymore, like Salisbury by 1971's Uriah Heep, Rush and Zeppelin, and so many more. For me, this revival is most welcome!
Love this song more every time I hear it. Always enough there to keep you interested, and also even with all the tempo and rhythm changes, still feels like the same song, and not different bits just thrown together to make an epic track. This album gets better with each listen. Soak it all in, my brother.😊
50:22 enjoyed your reaction as always! I’ve listened thru the album 4 times so far and can’t rank the songs yet! They are all excellent. And , yes, Matt Smith originally wrote Red Sea a long time ago, when he was 19.
The more I listen to this disk, the more I am coming to the conclusion that this is the best Theocracy effort to date, surpassing my previous favorite As The World Bleeds!
Love songs that invoke imagery through storytelling. And this in my opinion is one of the best. Have become a huge Theocracy fan in the last couple of years, especially after seeing them at Immortal Fest last year in Ohio. They are as amazing live as in the studio.
I'm really glad Theocracy made another long epic song. I was waiting for something like this since they made Mirror of Souls (22 mins long)... "Mirror of Souls" and "Red Sea" are epic and probably the only 2 songs over 10mins long that I listen to constantly and never get bored of them.
Just when I thought 2023 wasn't going to produce any albums to knock me out, two come along at once! The other one also featured Matt Smith, singing on Neal Morse's new Joseph album, and now this. I listened to tracks from it a few hours earlier today and I've been buzzing ever since!
19 minutes and never boring. This album review lasted 60 minutes and I never got bored. Well done guys. I only wished the video of you guys were bigger while listening to the songs, because its so entertaining to watch.😊
Christmas is approaching and Theocracy has made alot of Christmas songs over the years. Even their own songs. However the best one is "O, come Emanuel" that is a power metal version of this classical song. Maybe something for you to check up.
The whole album “grows” and keeps growing after multiple listens. What an amazing album! I pick a new favorite each listen, a true masterpiece.

My album of 2023, what a song. This band is so good and Matt Smith is a genius.
From the long songs that come on each album, this is my new favorite. Easter is a close second.

you are so right. Matt Smith writes the greatest epics that we can know.
Great song, but I think their GOAT song will always be "I am "
