    I feel seen. Thank you. My friend (who is a psychiatrist) also recommended inositol, as well as N-acetylcysteine and Ashwaganda. The irony of having panic disorder is that, as bad as you want to take something to stop it, you are afraid to take anything new… always the “what if” looming. I knew exactly what you meant about the negative self talk loops. All the affirmations and deep breathing in the world won’t stop the course.

    Patrick, I’m so happy about coming across this video. It appears as though we are very similar in our experience with anxiety/panic. Doctors and mental health specialists are SO QUICK to turn to SSRI’S and SNRI’S … I wish they would be more forthcoming about natural supplements to try first. Hmm … I wonder why that is? BIG PHARMA as you stated. Coming from someone who has also had bad experiences with antidepressants, I just so happened to begin my research on a natural supplement called Inositol; hence how I came across your video. I would love to chat more with you about topics discussed in this video and our own roads to recovery. It’s time the world becomes more familiar with anxiety, panic, and depression. Keep doing what you’re doing, sir.

    Thanks for sharing. Inositol helped me too! I take a high dose daily. I recommend trying Liposomal GABA, Quicksilver brand. And phenibut on occasion, but use cautiously.

      May I ask what dose of inositol you find helpful for anxiety? I just bought some today but not sure what dose to take 😅🙏

    Does inositol stil help you?

      Somewhat, but not by itself. Regular activity and having medication for particularly bad episodes is still useful for me. It does "take the edge off" so to speak.

      @@Laney395 hey there. I use a half tablespoon a day, although I think the research recommendation is a full tablespoon. When I used it, I can't anything else sugary, or it gives me a stomach ache. But if I don't eat any sweets (which is a vice of mine) that day, it's fine. I hope that helps!

    Have you ever tried thc since the onset of the panic?

    • @PatrickAshe41
      @PatrickAshe41  3 года назад +3

      I have not. I've heard different stories that it can help, but at first it can increase palpitations, which I have trouble with that medically.

    This tells me nothing about inositol ......

      In short, I've found it to be moderately helpful in reducing (not eliminating) panic symptoms, similar to the research: "RESULTS: The frequency and severity of panic attacks and the severity of agoraphobia declined significantly more after inositol than after placebo administration. Side effects were minimal." ajp.psychiatryonline.org/doi/abs/10.1176/ajp.152.7.1084 I hope this helps.
