My last statement at 28:41 might be the most important of the video: "I just don't find it difficult to care and love about others, including our differences. I don't find that difficult. I find it to be the easiest thing ever. It's the BS of the world in everyday life; that's what I find difficult."
We are the living eidolons of our inner beliefs. You've accomplished so much in completing novels already. Remember that! Milestones for most of us are the paveing stones you now tread and don't notice, but you made them and laid them. Be proud. You are mighty
Not saying in a mean way - not going to come off well in a comment lol Make your bed. I always feel good about myself when I make it. I never was “made” to as a kid. It was never a punishment and my mom would do it for me when I was stressed with school/work. I always felt loved when she would make it for me and she made it very well. She used to work in a hotel when she was a kid and really knew how to make it perfect. Hope you are well today ☀️
I know each act means different things to different people, and there's that Admiral along with Jordan Peterson who see such things as a critical "first step" to a better life. I think for many, it can. I just wish I knew if they were hit and screamed at over chores as a kid. I was. And I became so "tight ass" that peers and roommates made fun of me for it. But I will actually redo my bed *right before* I go to sleep. During the day, there's something jarring to me about cleaning up things and flinching while I do it, and then feeling angry and resentful. So I do it as-needed.
Wish I couldn't identify with the majority of the content of this video. I have no anecdotes, corrections nor offerings of advice for you, Patrick. I'm sorry and you're welcome 😉
I won’t pretend to have watched all 29 minutes of this (I watched about 15 minutes), but don’t be so condescending on yourself! All of your video titles say you’re a “loser” and such, try not to look at things from such a negative point of view. Don’t get yourself down!
