I'm such a philistine; until now I thought Fugazi was a rock band.

Jay, you are correct. Fugazi is a band, punk rock actually. i've seen them in concert a few times many decades ago.
nick was referring to a Japanese photographer whose last name sounds very close to the band in how it's pronounced.
anyway, i'm actually quite impressed that you know who Fugazi are. it's not like they're known in the way DD have been
