The recommendation must be a minimum. 35 is still very low fiber. If you eat enough plants you vill easily get between 50 and 100 grams. Since most people are not used to that much, it's best to start increasing carefully.
I’ve been having almost that same breakfast recipe. Only difference is I have 30g of dried figs or raisins or dates or mulberries instead of 1/3 cup of fresh blueberries. Sometimes I use rolled oats and just mix it all together and leave in the fridge overnight, and sometimes I’ll use steel cut oats where I cook it and add the other stuff in the last 5 mins. I plan on also adding 30g of oat bran to this once I can buy some.
Or start doing a carnivore diet and you will not need a single gram of fiber. Btw: How can I should take this man seriously when he said that 400 - 1000 years ago we were hunting and gathering? Agriculture is at least 10 000 years old...
I'm restricted from fiber due to gastroparesis. Seems contradicting. They are making healthy foods or food in general too expensive for a lot to eat. Ramen for all😢😢
