  • Never changed your own oil before? In this video I will take you through the step by step process to do it yourself! I (including how to do a poor man's engine flush!) This is a straightforward process and a great starting point for anyone looking to learn how to start working on their own car! Not to mention you will save money, use better quality oil & filters than the quick lube places, and get that feeling of satisfaction doing the job yourself!
In this video I change oil on my 2016 GMC Sierra with the 5.3L motor, but the steps I demonstrate will work for a wide range of vehicles
Let's share some laughs and help empower you along the way!
    Parts you will need:
Engine Oil (Google your year, make, and model of vehicle along with size of engine if applicable, or check the owners manual, or the oil fill cap its' self for the proper type)
Oil Filter (Google the same criteria above!)
    Ramps, Jacks, & Jack stands
    Oil Filter Wrench
Ratchet, Extension & Socket ( Or wrenches, size depends on vehicle)
    Paper Towel, or Shop Rags
    Absorbent Mat or Material
    Oil Change Bucket/Pan
    Funnel
Remember, RECYCLE your used oil! you can use the jugs from the new oil to return the old oil to it's place of purchase for safe disposal or recycling depot.

Thanks! I have done a far "cleaner" job in the past, filming the process adds a bit of complexity for sure! Thanks for the kind words as always!
