For sure. Let's say you have a major chord playing in the background. If you use the major scale to improvise over that chord its going to sound good for the most of the notes in that scale, but there are some notes that don't sound very pleasing so the pentatonic scale takes five of the better sounding notes of the seven notes of the major scale. This way this scale sounds more melodic when improvising :)
Hey man, I’m looking at one of these in green! What do you think of it after some months of use? Do you feel like the glossy fretboard makes it in any way sticky? Have you applied any kind of lubricant/oil to the fretboard?
Hi, i think it's a great guitar for the price it stays in tune, it's easy to play and set up, i think the pickups are a little to bright but you could eq that, about the lacquered fretboard it does get dirty faster than a regular one, it looks great when it's clean though but if it was my call i would change that finish, for cleaning i have read that you should only clean it with a micro fiber cloth, oils turn the fretboard greenish, check my other videos to get an idea of the sounds, and if you have any other questions feel free to ask :)
Beautiful playing and beautiful guitar! I just ordered one from Sweetwater!!!
