its been more than a year since you started uploading videos. I was searching for some channel in youtube and i found yours. at that time you didn"t even have 100k subs when i visited your channel and now you have 870k subscribes bro that is sick. first i was like he should upload some tutorials and then after sometime you started uploading tutorials i was in love with those especially lightroom ones. Can you make any after effects tutorials next time. You deleted some videos to in starting of your channel :(.
its kinda long already but LAST thing what i wanna say finally is you inspired me that you can take better pictures with minimum equipment or no equipment at all. thats what i wanna say man thank you for these amazing videos. I MISS YOUR HAIR TOO!

It’s funny how I come back to old videos like this. Re watching them still gives me the motivation and hypes me up so much. I’ve opened up a lot more since the first time I watched this. I’m proud of that and thankful for creators like you Peter.

I used to feel really awkward vlogging in public, I used to not do it at all, especially if I was by myself, but now that I've been doing it for awhile I honestly don't care, some advice from a small creator like me is that if you feel uncomfortable vlog with friends, it takes away less of the awkwardness, then gradually try to just talk to the camera like your talking to your friends explaining what you are doing or how your day went, I love my vlogs and I love watching other people's vlogs, it's like a special connection between the viewer and the vlogger, I totally recommend doing it.

2023 and here I am watching Pete’s advices, getting ready to launch my own RUclips channel and it is amazing how 5 years later everything he advices it still applies. Thanks Pete for inspiring me for years in so many ways. After dealing with a chronic disease I decided it is time to give back to the community, just as you have inspired and taught us. well, I can share a little history here if you guys wanna know, I started vloggin when I left my country for a little trip to Italy and I did it very well for the first time in public ! well i've put the videos on and then I started to vlog in my country, Portugal, and I found out that it is really hard more than those days spent in Italy ! So for you guys that are thinking about to starting to vlog take a good chance on your next trip!
I find it easier to vlog in public than with friends! Mostly because in public I don't know anybody so I don't care. Does that make sense? 😂 I feel like I have it backwards
This video definitely gave me a different outlook on vlogging!!! I always think that I must do extraordinary things in my vlogs but now I know that I'm the one who makes those videos interesting

We loved this video! However I think the main issue we have is with how we don't leave the house much except to go to our boring day jobs. I think the hardest part for us personally is coming up with the plan part of things. Thanks for the inspiration!

Absolutely love this, Peter. You've really inspired me to try and turn my channel into more than just a channel that films simple b-roll videos of cars. Vlogging is something I've wanted to do for a while now but haven't built the courage to start BUT now... I'll begin preparing for it and really just take the leap. Thank you!!

I've been revisiting some "classics" from some of my favorite RUclipsrs, creators, and other inspirations today to help grease the creative wheels a bit, and lo and behold, some of the content that originally got me filming/vlogging/creating pops up.
This will definitely be one of the references i cite when I do my Q&A episode, because even though I'm still just a fledgling vlogger, one of the frequent questions I get when I'm out filming in public is "How do I get started vlogging?"

This is some of the best vlogging advice I’ve ever heard. This is why vloggers like Peter and Casey have staying power and don’t need to be fake for the camera.
This is some insightful deep stuff man! I have been "vlogging" for about 2 years, just for fun, but my lack of passion for editing has been really in the way of portraying me in the best way. But this really motivates me to keep on doing it. You are truly an inspiration! Keep on doing your thing ✌️

Peter, thank you SO MUCH for this video. I have been vlogging but it takes me months before I ever get onto my next vlog. I always feel that the places I go to aren't interesting enough and I find myself delaying and delaying. Sure it's nice to travel to an interesting place on your vlog but I love your point about how you are the story and not necessarily the place that you're going to -it is SO true. This just changed my whole mindset, thank you!

Haha I love your points on this. Vlogging is hard for sure. The main thing I've been working on lately with my vlogs is talking and doing discussions more. Making myself talk more to get better at that.
