    We both left our jobs and had to find health insurance and we have the Philadelphia plan. It’s is great and really makes you understand the costs before you have a procedure but it also has coverage for unplanned things. It makes you realize that we spend more time finding a good price on Amazon than on health care. Having this insurance makes you smarter and also provides motivation to stay as healthy as you can.

    Great video! I'm glad I subscribed because I just got notified about your newest video. And again both you guys knocked it out of the park. You provided some really good information with a comfortable, tell-it-as-it-is tone of voice. I also appreciate your direct approach to each subject and hopefully, maybe, someday I'll join a life of FT RV life. For a few years at least to see this great country. Happy travels!

      You made our day with this comment. It’s so hard to know what topics to show and how best to present it. We appreciate your support.

      @@liketheresnotomorrow Just show what you're doing as FT-ers and the content will come to you. But I know this is probably the hardest part of being a RUclipsr. So far your journey has been interesting and enjoyable to follow along.

    Just a FYI, I was given 2 RX’s by my specialist. They called it into Walgreens (CVS) after insurance they were going to bill me 285.00. I had my specialist call it into WalMart. We picked them up today 75.00. This has happened in the past too. So now WalMart is my go to. Miss you guys! Love your videos! Good luck getting your insurance worked out!

      Be sure and ask if it might be less using a Good RX coupon! Our WalMart has the coupons.

      @@cathyabbate5356 yep. We use that sometimes. We will try Walmart next time we need refills. Doesn't hurt to price shop.

    Wonderful information, thank you. Question: What brand of ebike do you have? Do you like it and would you buy it again?

      We have Rad off-road ebikes (I think they are Roadster 6) we love them, but, they are heavy. They have lighter foldable ones now. We just wanted the ability to go off-road.

    Prescriptions and insurance is such a joke sometimes. My endocrinologist only wants me to have the brand name medication for my thyroid. I get it for $99 for a 3 months supply at Walmart. I don’t use my insurance for a couple of reasons. First, I travel full time. My insurance will only allow me to get prescriptions as a 30 day supply of if I use a brick & mortar pharmacy. The only way I can get a 90 day supply is if I use mail in. Being full time, that’s not always feasible. Next, if I use my health insurance in the pharmacy I have to pay $46/month making it $39 more expensive than not using insurance. I have filled my script at Walmarts across the country for 3 years and they all charge me the same $99. The Walmart in Oceanside, California refused and wanted to charge me $150+ for that same 3 month supply. I didn’t pick it up at that location, and got it for $99 at the next Walmart. You definitely have to be your own advocate.

      @liketheresnotomorrow  6 месяцев назад

      For sure. You’re the second person that said they got a better deal at Walmart. GoodRX helped get us a better price with one script but not the other

    So weird… I went to recommend y’all’s channel & it’s not showing up in my liked videos nor in my subscriptions (although, it displays here that I’m subscribed) nor did it come up in YT search. So I remembered y’all had a website & found a title to search “RV Teardown Checklist”, it didn’t come up either, but this one eventually came up in that search. ???

    Thank you for this video. My wife and I havent went full time because of her health and insurance. I just got medi care but not a advantage plan yet. Im so confused on it. I am also disabled vet and was told I didnt need it. I just had surgery and found out I was wrong. For some reason I seem to trust Mr Nunn. I will be calling him next week to see if he can help me. Thank you so much.

    You couldnt get BCBS? We are going full time next month and have BCBS of Florida. It is the top tier package and we pay $1200 for four of us.
    EdIt: I should have watched farther because he did mention BCBS Florida.

    This is the one big thing that's causing us to hold back. We have conditions which are managed well with meds, but are scared that we won't be able to get coverage for care or our scripts if we're off traditional work insurance plans. SO SO SO Scary.

      I hear ya. Just do the research. If you can qualify, are of certain age, etc... you may have more options than us.

    Have you looked at reviews of this company? After the sale the agent may not have the ability to deliver. It’s all about claims . Look at this company it’s not the conversation with this guy. It makes sense until the lab work bill isn’t paid.

    • @liketheresnotomorrow
      @liketheresnotomorrow  5 месяцев назад

      A very good reminder to do your due diligence. Thank you. We did look, and overall the reviews were good. Plus, we know several rvers using them and recommending them. I have my first claim coming this week, so we’ll be able to report more.

      I had another company pitch me on "travel insurance" and it was indemnity insurance. It is not healthcare insurance. I hope everyone does more homework on this before jumping in. Yes our health insurance is broken badly and definitely not affordable.

    • @kimlittleton4943
      @kimlittleton4943 5 месяцев назад

      Yikes --- BBB reviews were not good. I am in the same boat. Started nursing agency work (travel nursing). I have no health insurance. I just feel like there are no affordable options out there. I get a cash pay discount with my primary care provider, but my main concern is a catastrophic event. I self pay for prescriptions. I wish there were truly some good options out there.

    • @liketheresnotomorrow
      @liketheresnotomorrow  5 месяцев назад +1

      I hear ya. We just had our first claim with Philadelphia Life and this indemnity plan. I’ll have to report back to you guys how it goes. The bottom line for us is that we couldn’t afford a traditional plan. Not right now. It was insanely high for our family. This indemnity plan is one that we know many rvers use. Some of the top RUclips channel people use it as well. You have to know that it’s not covering everything but it does pay quite a bit. We knew from the start it’s not like traditional coverage… but it’s something and we could afford it. I’ll let you guys know how it goes.

    Why don't people demand a national health care system, people ALWAYS vote against their own interests, very confusing,what is wrong with people !
