Pricing of the accessories are not yet out (at least not in re website) as of 7 Dec 2023. I did rode the bike and its felt different and unique in many ways. Flaws are there so do the scope of improvement. After all, this is an entry level ADV and well priced in its segment of ADV`s. We really can't complaint, Its a beautiful machine.
Its always wise to wait for a second year or at least end of season. There are issues with most bikes of any brand when they just come out. Being a beta tester is an expensive hobby. By the way, why is the slate blue version nowhere to be found, except for presentation videos or unveilings?
Sunny bhau, I have something to say: A company has vendors to supply few parts as company can not put their heads into all the parts needed to make a machine like in this case, A Motorcycle. So as long as first or second or next consequent batches of final products are concerned, potential buyer needs to understand that parts made by RE at their factory can be instantaneously monitored in real-time, while parts which are getting outsourced could probably go thru various quality checks by outsourced vendors at their end in their factories, then updated versions of parts if any, would come to RE for final approval which they would eventually install in the motorcycle to test, if any change needed, eventually production team at vendors end need to execute corrections as per RE and resend modified/updated part to RE for final approval for mass production as per order proforma of RE with that vendor...... All this consumes time, and it's for the better for Consumers. LONG STORY SHORT: FIRST BATCH KI BIKE MAT LO, BOOKING CANCEL KARO AUR WAIT KARLO THODASA like 4months or so, Fresh product hai, isliye kaha. BAAKI TUMCHI MARZI BHAU. :D btw, i am keen as well for this in kaza brown.. I've decided to wait

Sunny bhai, my Interceptor 650 got gear problem. 3rd gear goes neutral. & People are saying this problem occurs in most of the Int 650. Is company fitting cheap gear parts? Please make a video on this.

The chassis is too long for this bike. In your case, better go for Triump Scrambler x, Triump Speed or Honda CB 350. Himalayan is hardcore touring and off-roading bike.
Depends on your size and build. If you're a big guy like me, you can use it as your daily commuter as this is the one of the few Indian bikes that doesn't look a toy under me. But, a scrambler would make more sense for you as it would come with alloy wheels and will be more manageable inside the city.

Brother I said technically second, not on papers, first lot is always tested by the company first which is also called as pre productions bikes..the bikes which we will get will be the first lot only however technically they can be called as second..

I have a Hunter 350. The sump guard for Hunter was only available in silver for over a month. My experience with RE accessories hasn’t not been very good. I hope this changes with the Himalayan 450.

The screen flickering is killing me inside. It's so distracting to the viewers. Why the screens from other bikes/manufacturers don't flicker? The gopros are set to NTSC format by default. Try changing to PAL format which matches the 50 hertz electrical frequency in India. This might fix the flickering issue. But the cons of setting to PAL is that you will lose fps. Instead of 60 fps you can only select 50 fps and instead of 120 fps you can only select 100 fps.
Can Himalayan be a one bike garage?

I waited for the black sump guard for few weeks but didn’t get it. So I got the silver one and got it painted from a local workshop. 😂
