The babies body is not the mothers body. So to say, "its your body do as you please", is stupid. But i must say this is a bit more humane than partial birth abortion. With PBA they basicly slice open the babies head at the base of its skull and vaccum out its brain. Had to argue this issue in college and found a article by a nurse that said the baby would twich with pain until it died. I think I cried and had nightmares for about two years after that. How can someone talk about this like it's just a day at the mall? This is the most heart wrenching, painful, hurtful thing to watch--being a mother--knowing the joy my children have brought me--it's just so awful to comprehend the level of EVIL that could do this. It is reprehensible and I would rather DIE than abort my baby--even if having that baby meant certain death.
this isn't ABOUT being pro life or pro choice, this is about abortions performed on BABIES that are old enough to survive outside of the womb and feel pain. Getting an abortion in the first trimester, especially before 12 weeks is one thing, but getting an abortion this late is downright wrong, unless of course there were a just reason such as the baby was going to die anyway, the mother was going to die or the baby was severely deformed, then that is understandable. If someone is this far along and doesn't want to go through with the pregnancy they can put the child up for adoption, otherwise they should have done it sooner.

I’ve had a few pregnancy scares due to irregular periods my whole life from the pill and I always thought that if I got pregnant at this stage in my life and my age of course there would be no choice rather to abort because I don’t have the financial means but these videos have really helped me change my mind about abortion.
Reece 20 Any pregnancy is a gift from God to you. There is help and supports out there for pregnant women who have difficult financial situations. It's always better to give the baby a chance at life and not to take that away from him/her before he/she has experienced even a bit of the world.

this makes me so angry!! If a woman contemplates an abortion at such a late stage of pregnancy and has to endure labour anyway ( which also would be far more painful due to being induced, rather than a natural delivery) then why can't she carry to term and give the baby up for adoption?! There's thousands of couples who can't have their own baby who would jump at the chance to be parents!! It's unethical and downright cruel..!!!

Actually child birth has statistically been the number 1 killer of women throughout history. That doesn't make abortion safe though but "made" isn't quite accurate. "Able to" would be a better description for most women's bodies.
This counselor is just matter of factly telling this woman how to kill her child with no empathy for this human child about to be murdered. If someone burst into her home and tried to inject poison into her head or rear end she would be thrashing and screaming for her life. This child tries to get away and knows the danger but no one comes to rescue them. This is unacceptable.

At 28 weeks I had a scare of preterm labour. I got an ultrasound and got to see my sons face in 3D he was already a chubby little baby. With distinguishable features and if he was born then he had an 85% chance of survival. This is really fucked up. It's literally murder.

It's because they have to. If they don't keep track of how things are going and something happens to the girl,.they will be held responsible. Also, if the girl gets up and looks at the baby she will realize what she has done and either blow the whistle the whole thing or just not come in again for another abortion. A late term abortion is less immoral than killing a bug. The bug loses conciousness and might even feel it. The fetus however is just some child shaped meat in a coma, that cannot experience feelings, emotions or existance.

Watching a video like this makes my decision to KEEP my beautiful baby who has Down Syndrome all the more real and easy. This is what he would have faced due to the fact I found out at 20+ weeks, three days before Christmas 2012 - we kept our son, and even if he dies of complications because of his condition, it's God taking him, NOT ME. I weep for women who decide this is a feasible acceptable practice. God Help us.

Well, we actually need to be absolutely clear here and maybe a bit careful.
You see, life/existence actually has no beginning nor end neither technically nor otherwise. It does, however, have a series of transitions that tend to be termed "beginnings and endings" and, in a way, they are "beginnings and endings" because one stage or phase of life/existence ends and the subsequent one begins- so there's a transitioning from the ending of the previous stage or phase of life/existence to the beginning of the next.
There are two separate general types of life/existence:
One type is the overarching, ruling, eternal, infinite type. That's the immortal, forever type of life/existence covering pre-mortality and post-mortality also known as "immortality".
The second type is the underlying/undergirding, servile/subservient, non eternal, finite type covering, hopefully, all stages or phases of current or present ie temporal life/existence, also known as "mortality".
So when talking about "life", it would be very useful, helpful and valuable to be very clear that one is referring to mortal life/existence just so hopefully there's no confusion along the way instead of assuming that practically everyone knows what one is talking about even if the audience believes that mortality is the only life/existence that there is and that there's no such thing as an afterlife or even a pre-life. But, yes. Mortal life begins at conception.

Agreed. But I respect her for not pulling punches, using such euphemisms as 'blob of tissue'. She actually used the correct medical term 'fetus'. She said she would stop the fetus' heart with an injection. She accurately described the procedure. Granted, it is gruesome and inhumane. But at least she did not deceive, which is so common.
