No, it is medically necessary in some cases if the pregnancy is not viable. No one carries a baby for 5 months only to wake up decide, “you know what, I change my mind.” Like it said in the video, they only account for less than 1% of abortions that are performed making them rare
@@tornadospin9 it is not medically necessary. At five months they can induce labor and give healthcare to the baby. There is no need to induce a heart attack or dismember them.

There are people posting videos of parties they had to celebrate their ab*rtions, or the number of them they've had. It's weird af. @@Ma1q444 people should really look more into the numbers they're being given about things like this. Abortion is a business, like it or not, and money makes people do despicable things. They say 1%, but that's the number you're getting from one side of the argument. The same side I remind you, that told us this wasn't even happening at all up until recently, unless it was a life-threatening emergency, and we now know that's just not true.

Its been banned since the 1970s, since just after Roe v Wade, except in the cases of maternal health.
@@cherylgrames8555 That's incorrect. It has been legal in CO to have an abortion for any reason through all 9 months of pregnancy, and Roe allowed for this. AK is another state with this situation. Dr. Hern obfuscates when he describes who is getting late term abortions. Late term abortions are dangerous and babies can be delivered if there is a risk to a mother's life or health - abortion is not needed in those situations. Most late term abortions are elective and done for social reasons.

Did you see the babies of the 2 women in the video that were “delivered” at this clinic by Dr. Hern? They were not merely delivered prematurely. They were either dismembered or had a heart attack induced, and then delivered.
The fetus didnt have the top of their skull. Thats what you call a non-viable fetus. Happened all the time with Zika. Giving birth to that... It's a nightmare.

I'm not against ending pregnancies after 22 weeks if there's a medical need for it, but in my country you deliver the baby. From what I understand, they really are aborting in these clinics? That's what I find horrifying. And if there's no medical need for it, then after 22 weeks it shouldn't be done at all.

In "these clinics" they do not ever perform abortions on healthy babies in healthy women. They are too risky unless it's the safer option. Doctors won't do it because of how risky they are unless their patient's life is at risk.
