This is a very high quality seat mounting kit and the tractor seat is our most comfortable seat and is in our opinion the best looking seat on the Indian Scout available on the market.

Looks more like the original scout now.
Looks very good! I did not know the springs were bolted to the adaptor plate. Others hinge up on purpose. The seat makes the bike look better and I bet the ride is even nicer.

Why is it that so many manufacturers insist on using imperial threads on their kits when the bike they are designed for is all metric. Are metric bolts that hard to get in the states......Victory and Indian do not think so.
where did you get the tank done?
The Indian warbonnet image i a decal and then it was clear coated.
so the Indian image on the side is paint work?
yep it needs a different seat and handle bars
question....how much higher off the bike do you sit....verses the stock seat. Im short and wondering if this would make it harder to reach the foot controls
It sits you up 1 1/2" and 1/ 1/2" closer so it works for shorter riders. We also have a rigid seat mounting kit for the Scout that sits the rider lower than stock.
how is the movement when cornering?...much side to side seat movement?
There is some movement due to the springs but you get use to it.

Springs are WAY to big. 5 inches makes it sit to high. I always hard mount my solo seats but 3 inch on a Scout would look much better. Do you have a 3 inch spring kit? I actually have a tool box tray full of springs of all sizes so I guess I was asking really more to know if you have a pic with smaller springs. Also WHY dont you give the seat dimensions??? I like a smaller seat as well. I have a 2016 Scout and 9 other bikes including 3 hardtails which include my 59 Panhead Bobber that had a hardtail back half welded in and originally built in 66.I actually just had my 45 pan built by S&S as well as I did a full resto. The other 2 are based on evo motors. Anyway is THAT seat the only option?
You can go with 3" coils. You will bottom out on the aluminum protrusion on the fender. This seat is 15x14" you can go with a smaller seat also. We have some opt for a 12x13" seat.
What is the size of the seat in the video? Your website shows two different sizes for tractor seats.

All of our Scout seat mounting kits will fit the Scout Bobber. We have different bags for the Bobber.
what's the max load for the seat ?
We do not know exactly but we have some big guys ride it without problems.
are spring seat comfortable for touring?
Yes. our tractor seat is the most comfortable type of spring seat.
