Eda is one of my favourite characters, as her beliefs regarding the boiling isles education system parallel my own beliefs about the real-world education system, which I feel quite strongly about
Oh real world education is beyond screwed - I could dedicate *Hours* to talking about the way in which the way education is done is abysmal, dull, pointless, and basically just conditioning for the abject nightmare that is the job market, trust me on that one.
@@re1010 I mean people can also interpret her as a Human, doesn't make it accurate. I cannot for the life of me see any way in which she's a conservative in any way at all.
@@Anti-CornLawLeague Running a buissiness is not conservative, She'd literally be arrested if she did, and Besides, most people don’t WANT to pay taxes. The left just acknowledges them as a necessity under any system which uses money, and that the wealthy should be paying their share.
Also, lemme say that Confucianism is the religion I am most strongly against. As an anarcho-Christian, I recognize that Abrahamic faiths can be interpreted in a liberating lens, but literally all of confucianism sums up as "do as your told, keep up the status quo".
Personally, I find the easiest way to quickly explain anarchism is to talk about the roots of the word. Anarchy comes from the roots a-/an- (without) and -arkos (ruler/master). Anarchist oppose all unjust authority and oppressive hierarchies in order to create a free and equal society without rulers. Anarchist view both capitalism and the modern centralized Nation State as oppressive so they wish to abolish both. All consistent anarchists oppose other oppressive social hierarchies like systemic racism, the patriarchy and cisheteronormativity. Anarchism doesn't mean opposing all rules and wanting chaos. It means wanting to create a truly free and equal society where no one is placed on a pedestal above others. No Gods, No masters.
How else would you own business without laws that are explicitly not enforced by your workers? I am not even saying it's a good thing, but the first thing I expect to happen to capitalist without property law is that workers just refuse to give them the profit. I mean, why would they?
If a state does not exist then the corporation creates one It’s called a corpocracy and it’s done to ensure compliance and kill decentors Look at the company towns or fordtopis to see where unchecked capitalism gets you

People actually watch The Owl House and think that Eda is even the slightest bit of right leaning?
Somehow, apparently.
I mean, she can be interpreted as conservative. But it's the ends where they divert.
