    When it comes to the conversion after a touchdown, Bill was the first to accomplish it in one manner, and the last to do it in a second. As coach of the Cleveland Browns in 1994, he scored the NFL's first 2 pt. conversion in the first quarter of the opener against the Bengals. And with Doug Flutie, he was the last to score with a drop kick.

    What he is describing became so evident after their last Superbowl win. Do your research, understand the body language of opposing coach and players. Nobody does it better than BB and company. I.e. SB with Seattle the final minute. Some Pats fans were saying "Take a time out!!! Save time on the clock" But BB knew that Seattle's emotions and motions were going faster than their brains and increased the possibility of making an error. A Pats time out would have allowed Seattle to settle down and compose themselves. The result, mental error that cost Seattle their second SB in a row. (not that the pass play was bad, but it should have been a fade to a corner, not a slant down the middle).

    Belichick would be a great general if he was in the Army. Maybe he'd make a great president if he chose politics.

    • @Asmov
      @Asmov 5 лет назад

      He wouldn't, president is by definition a temporary job so he wouldn't be able to achieve his system the way he would want it to function, same with being a general being a general is more about politics then it is about military planning he'd make a great commander or tactician though obviously.

      They call it “culture” in business, the Patriots don’t have a system, every other team uses a system, Bill learnt the hard way against the giants that if you have a system that makes you inflexible and there can be 1 team that can beat you, since then the Patriots have been Flexible and there system is every play in the book, every system in the NFL.

      -yawn- Although I will agree with you. Why would Kraft get a $50 HJ? With his $, he should be getting the best of the best. Just saying. And so what? How is that behavior aligned to football? Look at Jim Irsay. Guy still looks like he does an 8 ball a night w/ hookers.
