People get confused about it. different prononciation in different languages. i was watching a handball match the other day, spanish comentary, and the guy pronounced the romanian name Florica as Floricha, although it's actually pronounced the same as in his own spanish language Florika. I can say, for Polish-a fellow Slav language-that Crna Gora (or Czarnogóra), also means ‚Black Mountains’, not ‚Black Forest’. I don’t speak any balkan language, but I thought I’d share that :-)
As a Russian, I find it amusing that Cherno Gora is exactly the same in all east, west, south Slavic languages. Unlike Germanic which has “black mountain” in English “Schwarzer berg” In German and “svart fjell” in Norwegian. Our languages are much closer than theirs are

I am French and was there few times . I find Montenegro so beautiful. Fascinating! And ppl are very beautiful too. And very handsome. Plus you forgot to mention that it is only ecological country in Europe, so basically whole country is a national park. Strange that they consider them lazy, but their country is so clean and service in hotels and everywhere is so great. I think they are just not neurotic and not bipolar. Hahaha!

As a person who lives in Montenegro I don't really agree that it's so clean. It indeed is ecological country but that title is pretty much of undeserved. Take the Lim river as an example, once one of the cleanest rivers in Europe now basically a trash can for many people. You can find many landfills around the country in the middle of a forest. Some people have tendention to simply throw trash wherever they want and literally no one does anything. It is a beautiful country but people started appreciating it less. Everyone cares only about the coastal region because tourists mostly travel there but northern region is also beautiful if not even more than the coastal region.

Its like if there were Montenegrian politicians in Bosnia being that 1 vote that forces Bosnia to call off all accusations at Serbia for genocie and even force Bosnia to give away its autonomus region to Serbia. Thats how people of Montenegro feel now that they are in NATO. We hate NATO more then Bosnians hate Serbs and more then Serbs hate Croats. The goverment might be now in power but with its fall we will exit, even with war if we have to. Wen Croatia entered Yugoslavia they didnt like it from the very start. When they exited they cause a mess that ruined it for good. When we exit NATO it will be horribly amplified. My people dont forgive. My people dont bend their backs. My people cnat be forced to anything and they remmeber every slight. Those Bosnians representatives might be chased from my country sometime in the future. Minority party shouldnt have power to change global politics of a country.

I've been in Montenegro last year, very beautiful country, loved Kotor. They do drive like crazy though... There's no highways and some cars don't even had their licence plate on 😅

People get confused about it. different prononciation in different languages. i was watching a handball match the other day, spanish comentary, and the guy pronounced the romanian name Florica as Floricha, although it's actually pronounced the same as in his own spanish language Florika. Unless you know these rules, or you research before, you have a chance to get it wrong.
When I was backpacking Europe, Montenegro was my quick stop to cross off my list. I was very surprised how beautiful the the country was. I absolutely loved kotor. I can say it was a hidden gem for sure and the country really does capitalize off of tourism’s

I can say, for Polish-a fellow Slav language-that Crna Gora (or Czarnogóra), also means ‚Black Mountains’, not ‚Black Forest’. I don’t speak any balkan language, but I thought I’d share that :-)
As a Russian, I find it amusing that Cherno Gora is exactly the same in all east, west, south Slavic languages. Unlike Germanic which has “black mountain” in English “Schwarzer berg” In German and “svart fjell” in Norwegian. Our languages are much closer than theirs are

I am French and was there few times . I find Montenegro so beautiful. Fascinating! And ppl are very beautiful too. And very handsome. Plus you forgot to mention that it is only ecological country in Europe, so basically whole country is a national park. Strange that they consider them lazy, but their country is so clean and service in hotels and everywhere is so great. I think they are just not neurotic and not bipolar. Hahaha!

But some less crowded regions are clean (I’m thinking of Brittany, Dordogne, Alsace or French Alps.) So, If this is man is from Paris, yeah, he will find everything clean no matter where he go haha
As a person who lives in Montenegro I don't really agree that it's so clean. It indeed is ecological country but that title is pretty much of undeserved. Take the Lim river as an example, once one of the cleanest rivers in Europe now basically a trash can for many people. You can find many landfills around the country in the middle of a forest. Some people have tendention to simply throw trash wherever they want and literally no one does anything.
It is a beautiful country but people started appreciating it less. Everyone cares only about the coastal region because tourists mostly travel there but northern region is also beautiful if not even more than the coastal region.
The title first ecological country is not deserved. We need to improve, but when will that happen we don't know😅
