@@michaelkowalski1791 Thank you :) What makes a country so likable is the people of that country. We all need love, peace, and unity, it should be something to believe in, and not just something to define our very actions and thoughts. The most important requirement is peace, our struggle for fairness and our desire to reduce inequalities between us. Where there is peace there is abundance. This is humanity in action and it is the power of this humanity, humane behaviour towards other humans. This is not easy, of course, because the human species is ethically ambivalent. The reason that the call for humanity is so loud is because the record of inhumanity is so long. The principle of humanity must keep pace with the ethical evolution of humanity. About 116,000 Polish refugees came to Iran during World War II. We gave them food and shelter. They returned to Poland after the war. The power and might don’t last forever. All empires and powers always have fallen, the sad thing is the lives that are wasted during those dark times. Persians/Iranians are among the most educated people in the world. We Persians love our beautiful and ancient country Iran, and we love and care about our Persian language, culture, traditions, costumes, art, music, literature, etc. Iranians still celebrate the ancient Persian traditions/festivals such as Nowruz (the Persian new year), the night of Yalda, Charshanbe Suri, Sizde be Dar, etc.

I find Serbia a very interesting country! And they also have so many good football players, I love football haha. Greetings from Brazil to all Serbians!
The 'something wrong' that makes you feel that way is because how Serbia is portrayed in the media (constant conflicts, 90's issues, politics, etc.) The research for the video is on point. Many of my foreign friends that visited or used to live here were surprised to experience the quite opposite from the aggressive stereotype that Serbia unfortunately has. They all loved the hospitality and how they were treated, the food, nightlife, and especially women feeling safe walking alone on the street. You will find shitty and negative people in every country, but the narrow-minded individual's opinion shouldn't speak for the whole nation. I hope you visit one day and experience it yourself. Cheers! :)
Greatest love to my good Serbian people. They are also more humble, fair, justiceful, friendly like we Bosnians/Croatians are, the politicians used this to make themselves rich, which is what the current Serbian president is doing, doing anything that takes to hide the identity of commanders who attacked innocent villages and cities in the past and harming the whole country in the process that's why many see it as an "evil country". Sadly some residents are falling for their nationalism and fascism but most of the won't. We both want to forget what was happening in the 90's 🇧🇦🇧🇦🇧🇦
Greeting bro. I always choose to think that those who died, died so we could live in peace now. I guess our ancestors wouldnt want us to go to war cause they died and we should accpet that sacrifice as a foundation of building peace and love amongst us for a future generations. ❤️🇷🇸 🇧🇦 🇭🇷
Back in my university days in Johannesburg, I had a friend who was Serbian. He never struggled with the pronunciation of my native words unlike most of my compatriots 🤦♂️. His diction was perfect. When I told him that in the orthography of my native tongue my surname should have been spelled as Ma/v/unda and not MABUNDA like it is written he went on to pronounce it perfectly without any coaching. What he told me is that their alphabet is the closest to the phonetic IPA alphabet as one could get 🤔. I don't know how true that was 🤦♂️, but well his diction was perfect 👌.
Yeah man, serbian language is the most evolved in terms of grammar, writing and ease of pronunciation. It is like the old latin language, very clear sounding out of the slavic languages. But its complex for sure, hard but hard in a right way because it all makes sense, very little stuff which is exceptions of the rule.
Yeah, we have a rule "one letter, one sound". Basically, we have 30 letters in our alphabet and each of them has a unique sound connected to it, and there is a lot of phonetic diversity in the alphabet, so it's quite easy for us to pick up dialects.
@@mhlave2440 Interestingly enough Africans learn South Slavic languages wery fast. We have 2 Black kids from Africa and they speak Croatian with Dalmatian accent!
True but they should have mentioned its srpski inat. Which means when everybody is against you we will find away to fight back example when we fought Austro-Hungarian empire.
Well stubborness is not the same as “inat” or “prkos” as we also say in Serbian. Its not the same in Bulgarian also. We have a word “tvrdoglav” meaning strongheaded, thats the word we use for stubbornness, it does not mean doing something out of spite, it means to have make a desicion and strongly stick to it for example, to have an ideal that you do not break at any cost. I think you must have a similar word in Buglarian for that. On the kther hand “Inat” or “out of spite”’is as they explained, trying to do the exact oposite of what you are told just to prove someone is wrong, even if it may hurt you or you have no interest in doing it. Thats the beauty of South-Slavic, we have our words and a bunch of synonyms which are loan words, greeting to you Bulgarian bro 🙏👍🏻

@@TheEverfever we know it's old Persian or Arabic word. In Balkan languages we have a lot of words that we adapted from Turkish. @Soloman S this is coming from a Serb American. I hate Milošević Karadžić etc as much as anyone. I don't speak for all Serbs obviously, but I'd rather be a "traitor" and a good person than be loyal and a piece of garbage.
@Soloman S there are victims and perpetrators on all sides. It makes no sense to me to kill an innocent person in the name of religion or country. Anyone who believes that is a piece of garbage. I'm sorry for your losses, but like I said, blame the individuals, they need to be held accountable. Anyone preaching hatred, call them out. I wish you the best in life. I can't speak for all Serbs but I offer my sympathies to you.
Serbians are good lads, never had a problem with them. I say where I'm from and they reply with "good food and even better cities". When I go to Croatia, is the opposite.
Ipsa the majority of Iraqis are probably Arabs yeah but I would say there is a big chance that a lot of Iraqis have Mesopotamian blood aswell going back to the years as I find it unlikely that all Iraqis are 100% ethnically Arabic when the country is so diverse

I love the Balkans and I wish to go there visit some day.
I literally have never even thought of how I would explain "Inat" to someone until it came up here. I guess its because I've never needed too 😂 but I think in Serbia, Inat takes on a different role in contrast to the rest of the Balkans.

Remember the days when Barby would say that a 12 minute video was running too long
Half hour long episodes and still everything is 'condensed' or 'put in quickest way' and 'summarised in shortest way'😂
I think it's due to the fact that in older videos it was basically just himself explaining the info and his friends were there for the skits only....
Also as the time went on, his infos are getting broader as he might find some interesting stuffs about the country in his research other than just "very important stuffs" the country owns during those early days....

This is... too peaceful. Something’s wrong I can feel it.
Cheers! :)
aliception I agree 100% with you.

We pretty much have no problem with pronunciation of words from other languages. And i've heard from native English speakers that we have nice accent.
@Ok Ra My native tongue is Xitsonga
/ʃitsɔnga/.
In Bulgarian we have the same word "inat", it means stubbornness or as the lady said, doing or not doing something out of spite.
True but they should have mentioned its srpski inat. Which means when everybody is against you we will find away to fight back example when we fought Austro-Hungarian empire.
Stabburnness in Arabic is pernounced "enad" ! So interesting!
@@firstsarajable العناد - It's actually an Arabic word which the Turks borrowed and spread it wherever the Ottoman Empire reached.

I literally have never even thought of how I would explain "Inat" to someone until it came up here. I guess its because I've never needed too 😂 but I think in Serbia, Inat takes on a different role in contrast to the rest of the Balkans.
Why is that?😊
Spite...

I met lots of Serbs when I lived in Norway. They know how to throw a good party and make friends quickly.
Good memories, smart, funny, nice people. I have to say, they are like all southern slavs. They are just so cool.

When I was in Beograd, I asked why there were so few tourists (I liked that, it was easy to move around). The guy I asked said 'Because Croatia took all the beaches.' I just could not stop laughing.
Belgrade actualy has a lot of tourists last few years.. Other places in Serbia don't.
Yeah, that's like a perfect example of our humor 😆
@@lypcizhenaf8988 It's a joke, calm down lol
That's a pretty good and funny argument.
