What never ceases to amaze me is the fact that no one has made an arranged version that could even hope to surpass the quality of the original compositions. Sure, there are many MSU1 versions, but not one sounds as good as this. They achieved almost CD quality with this soundtrack, plus it sounds like an orchestra, yet the songs are "plain" MIDI files.
This isn't really Trevor's theme. The only Belmont to actually have a theme is Simon, who's song is fittingly called, "Simon's theme". Same as how bloodlines bequeathed is NOT Richter's theme in rondo of blood/Dracula x chronicles.
This lv is so brutal, I would learn to not fall and miss the stairs and climb before that spinning thing could get me, only to discover I had to jump into flying platforms and than Spikes! Than after a few tries finally get past those swinging things to find myself stuck at those other flying platforms where u needed to do a perfect timing to jump trough other 2 platforms before getting splattered into the spikes above, and of course after that, 3 BOSSES IN A ROLL! I love this game.
This is the only level in the game I still have a hard time with to this day. I love that this song plays in it, it's like awesome encouragement to beat the damn level lol
My reaction to this stage as a kid: What the heck is that!? Hurry up the stairs, hurry up the stairs! Faster, faster, faster!*gets hit by the spike wheel of death*NOOOOOOOO!!! WHY!? That is so cheap!
I wish I was born in the 80's I wanna know how it was in the 80's and see the beginning of video games because castlevania is one of my favorite games since my childhood
The Castlevania videogames are my favorite, no other comes close! Especially Symphony of the Night, regardless of how easy it can get, then it has to be IV (the first one I ever played), I get nostalgic just thinking about it. I always liked the music. Thank you everyone who participated in the making of all the games and absolutely, the music! I even like the "not that good" Castlevania games, sadly I haven't played any of the DS games or anything beyond PS2. One day...
The spiked chakram at the bottom of the stage is basically Dracula last line of defense. Being technically the last level in the game, this had to Drac's ace in the hole.
Oh, how I hated that spike wheel. Sometimes the stairs don't make things easier, climbing as they crumble. This stage is all "RUN!!!!" or "CLIMB!!!" as the case may be.
Yo jugando toda las zonas y viniendo bien estresado de otros niveles pero suena vampire killer y este temon 🙂 mis 2 temas favoritos de todo Castlevania
You have to be lightning fast if you want to outrun the instant death buzzsaw because if you slow down too much it will catch up and kill you resulting in an automatic death.
Here's a hint: In hard mode, there is a boomerang (the most powerful weapon) over some spikes in stage B-2. If you get hit by a monster and bounce over the spikes, you can quickly get the boomerang without dying. However, I wouldn't try it without an emulator. It's just too risky.
Getting through this stage is as much luck as anything else. You really have to be in the zone to make it through alive. And then you face the meanest boss in the game right after you make it through. :-P
I gave "Castlevania 3 - Dracula's Curse" a try for the first time a while ago, and played until halfway through stage 3 with Grant as a supporting character. It seems like a great game, but really difficult. The cogwheels messed me up a lot, lol.
This stage was my demise in SNES! I only could clear the game on snes emulator (using constant save states) cause.. it's a thin vertical stage and all the stairs fall while you climb them, gotta climb them fast! (if you fall you die) + there's a spiked iron wheel that's always coming to you from below, that kills you with JUST ONE HIT! (you can never rest here) + lots of grappling hook parts to swing and jump to the next platform or to more freaking falling stairs (while stone enemies constantly appear from the walls that make you fall if you touch them while swinging, lovely).. and in the 2nd half of the stage: lots of fast elevating platforms, they should help you go up no?.. they would, if there weren't lots of spiked ceilings that also KILL YOU WITH ONE HIT! and you gotta constantly jump to another platform to not get crushed! and sometimes you jump and touch the f*cking spiked ceilings! = IMPOSSIBURU!!
This version of the main theme tune from CV3 sounds more like a broken love rather then being sounding that creepy because it sounds not creepy at all, while still being a great version but i still will prefer the original famicom version of this tune.
this level is dumb... I struggled with it, and still do. My friend comes over and asks what I am playing... beats it in one go... he also landed the plane in Top Gun... and re-fueled it on his first go... =/
When you hear this, run.... and don't look down!
LITERALLY, couldn't afford one misstep
That level is a pain. Who you meet can be worse.
Literally learned it in the hard way
Yeah, this level is so hard. I can see it in my nightmares.
LITERALLY
That's lovely how this OST plays when you have pretty much reached the end of the game.
It's like... the beginning of the end for Dracula !
Seo Vania was that a pun?...
Absolutely \o/
For the Light, and vanquish the darkness! The Belmont clan will never falter from their eternal mission to destroy the prince of Hell!
anda later Jonathan loading his father burden at the sound of Simon's theme
its your reward for making it this far in the game
the bass line for this tune is SICK
elsrdick The bass line, yes...
... but, THOSE KICK DRUMS THOUGH.
You should come check out the new version of Castlevania's "Beginning" I just uploaded. You might like it.
Stage B-2. Where extra lives start to be worth their weight in gold.
wait. did you say gold because the boss before all of this was made of it?
@@conraad10 No. Because they're LITERALLY worth their weight in gold.
I find it ironic that the stage with Castlevania III music, is the hardest in the game and also has a very annoying stair climb.
And the level with CV1 music has nothing but bats and skeletons lol
Fitting because Castlevania III is widely considered to be one of the hardest games in the series
Well, the international version is. The Japanese version, Akumajo Densetsu, is MUCH more fair in terms of challenge.
The stairs have always been the true antagonist in the Castlevania series, not Dracula.
@@hansweiss469 It's a better version, with the VR6 of course (great difference with music)
gaming in the 90's the best gaming of my life
this music.. all of it on Super castlevania 4 will never get old. i can listen to 10 hr loops of it and not get bored
It's so beautiful and doesn't get old!!! Wish to see Konami remake this game as is....only 3D... This song calls out only the legendary Belmonts.
Same thing here!!!
DO NOT REMAKE ANYTHING ABOUT THIS GAME PLEASE
You should come check out the new version of Castlevania's "Beginning" I just uploaded. You might like it.
Vamooos
@@MrRufioooo This game is a retelling of Castlevania 1 lol.
One of my favorite Castlevania tracks.....EVER!

I still hate those diagonally rising platforms. Close calls every time...
I always imagined that the stairs were "pushing" the gears back...
Trevor... The SNES made your theme sound so awesome... Twice!
Is this music called Trevors theme even if Konami never mentions it
I thought he's theme was Belmont, the Legend from Curse of Darkness
@@BIastProcX yea it's trevor theme just like vampire killer for simon although he has another one which is dance of the holy man
This isn't really Trevor's theme. The only Belmont to actually have a theme is Simon, who's song is fittingly called, "Simon's theme". Same as how bloodlines bequeathed is NOT Richter's theme in rondo of blood/Dracula x chronicles.
@@wubbawubba3396There is another.
Awesome soundtrack. There's nothing more to say!

Yeah, I gave up on those flying platforms.
And honestly, the only reason this song is iconic to me is because of how hard this stage was.
Love the Bass line.
My favorite part of this song is when it calms down at 0:33, only to ramp right back up at 0:39
I love how they did the themes not in order of the games but in the quality.
It was so awesome to listen the old castlevania tracks in this EPIC Super Nintendo Game.
Wonderful times. I remember I was a kid when I beat this level. I was the happiest man alive!
Ironic how this was the very beginning for castlevania 3 but is the very last stage in castlevania 4....
The very last section, in fact before the boss gauntlet. Very "PUNny".
the Beginning of the END
Ouroboros
This is the only level in the game I still have a hard time with to this day. I love that this song plays in it, it's like awesome encouragement to beat the damn level lol
In my personal opinion, "The beginning" is the official Castlevania theme. Its more epic than "Vampire Killer"
You should come check out the new version of Castlevania's "Beginning" I just uploaded. You might like it.
Damn, that badass 16 bit drumming tho
The Spike Wheel Of Doom. Chuck Norris ran for his lives up the falling stairs.
Simon smoothly just moonwalked the whole damn way up.
Ah, yes, the level where you couldn't afford a misstep, because the step would then go missing... x)
My reaction to this stage as a kid:
What the heck is that!? Hurry up the stairs, hurry up the stairs! Faster, faster, faster!*gets hit by the spike wheel of death*NOOOOOOOO!!! WHY!? That is so cheap!
For real it is
this is one of the best soundtracks ever
There is many great musics in this game but my fav musics are, in order: Stage 6 Chandeliers (6-2) - Stage B Vampire Killer (B-1)... and this one!
I have cool versions of both "Vampire Killer" and "Beginning". Come check it out.
A great song for a great stage.
I wish I was born in the 80's I wanna know how it was in the 80's and see the beginning of video games because castlevania is one of my favorite games since my childhood
80's also had some damn good heavy metal albums and cool animated shows too dude.
Luquillo45 Always thought I was born in the wrong decade...
The Ninja Orc Funny. I just told my cousin that last night when we were drinking together and listening to Deep Purple and Black Sabbath in my house.
Luquillo45 Sometimes I feel like I'd be better off born in the 80's too.
The Ninja Orc There's nothing like it!!
Nostalgia pura !!!! Nunca existiram games melhores !!!!
fantastic slapping bass
>beginning
>actually plays it close to the end of the game
I was the first soundtrack at the start of Castlevania 3
The nice thing about this level is that if you game over at the boss rush you start over at the boss rush instead of restarting the whole stage.
the Beginning... of AN ENTIRE HELL!!!!!!

I friggin love this song, best song in all of castlevania 3 with that goddam intro, cause it's amazing.
+Shadow_Link this is castlevania 4, jackass.
+SoheiFox Originally in Castlevania 3, level 1, but this version is better.
+SoheiFox The last few levels of Castlevania 4 remix a piece from the first three games; this is a remix of "Beginning" from Castlevania 3

@@cbraat27 I dunno i love with the song prayer with it right after prayer plus beginning is amazing.
This is one of those games where you have to “measure twice and jump once”... but in this stage, you don’t have time!
Wow this is pretty fly
This music was a sign. A sign telling you that you're fucked.
The spiked chakram at the bottom of the stage is basically Dracula last line of defense. Being technically the last level in the game, this had to Drac's ace in the hole.

How ironic that the music called Beginning play in actually what is the last stage before the final bosses ^^
You have to be lightning fast if you want to outrun the instant death buzzsaw because if you slow down too much it will catch up and kill you resulting in an automatic death.
What a song!
Why did that tower with the diagonal platforms have to be before the last bosses?
шикарно!
Epic! This one for me was easy but then that death herself...
this Castlevania soundtrack is much better than the games of now
Trevor Belmont's theme.
CV3: Curse of Dracula/Akumaju Densetsu is too good
Personal favorite: The Original (Japanese)
When your house's stair start crumbling
0:23 reminds me of the ball i had to escape
and soooo the madness begins anew
That 6 dislikes people never feels that big saw follow them
This place is frustration incarnate

Funny how the track called "Beginning" is played in the very last stage section of the game, right before the four final bosses.
Beginning of the End? xD
It was the Beginning of Castlevania 3.

One word: STAIRS
This version of the CV3 main theme tune sounds more like a broken love🥲
Just run!!!
Epico.
Castlevania Vampire Kiss
WHY SIMON?! WIMON!!
WICKED bassline OOOOF
I've always found it ironic how Beginning is the last regular level music in SC4.
*I keep dying!!!*
